Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding and fitting on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. * Shift Wednesday-Saturday 6:30pm-5am but training will be Monday-Thursday and can be 1st 6:30am-5pm or 3rd shift 6:30pm-5am<h2>Job Description</h2>Duties may include: <ul><li>Assembles/processes product, parts and assemblies using hand tools, customized tooling, and/or semi-automated equipment.</li><li>Follows written process/assembly documentation.</li><li>Inspects and tests parts, assemblies and product using precision measuring and testing equipment.</li><li>Adjusts process within defined ranges based on measured results.</li><li>May be cross-trained in additional production areas.</li><li>Adheres to all safety requirements.</li><li>Maintains a clean work area.</li><li>May assist in training other employees on production skills.</li><li>May assist in preventative maintenance of standard production equipment.</li></ul>SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATIONSMinimum Required Skills and Knowledge<ul><li>Proficient in a production skill area.</li><li>Strong teaming skills.</li><li>Basic understanding of material logistics.</li><li>Basic understanding of several business systems/concepts such as Demand Flow, Statistical Process Control, Process Documentation, Empowerment, Six Sigma methods, Quality and/or Cost Improvement.</li></ul>Required Certifications and Training<ul><li>Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.</li></ul>Experience Level with Business Tools<ul><li>Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. </li><li>Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.</li></ul>LEVEL DESCRIPTIONSkill<ul><li>Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.</li></ul>Job Complexity<ul><li>Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.</li></ul>Supervision<ul><li>Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instruction only on new assignments.</li></ul>Typical Education and Experience<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>1 – 3 years of related experience</li></ul>ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSEnvironment and Physical Demands<ul><li>Ability to stand the duration of the shift</li><li>Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. More lifting and amount of weight may be required depending on the work area</li></ul>This is a position in the CsI clean room, working Wednesday through Saturday, 6:30pm to 5am but will be training Monday through Thursday same time.The operator will work in a cleanroom environment. Operator must be comfortable wearing a full jumpsuit with hood, hair net, gloves, safety shoes, face covering, safety glasses. Experience in operating machines / fixtures, measuring tools and handling /applying various chemicals. Able to lift 40lbs to eye height or above depending on the individual’s overall height.
