If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p><i>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a <b><u>Production Manager</u></b> (Metals) located in Guadalajara, North Campus. </i></p><p></p><p><i>This role involves guidance and coordination activities of employees engaged in the following areas of a manufacturing department; multi-level assembly, mechanical and enclosures quality assurance to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements. </i></p><p></p><p><b><span>What a typical day looks like:</span></b></p><ul><li><i>Guide department activities to hold up design of new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and helps on test procedures.</i></li><li><i>Execute and provide input to functional plans and objectives for the site.</i></li><li><i>Create functional processes or technologies</i></li><li><i>Contribute with management, production, and marketing staff to resolve manufacturing feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.</i></li><li><i>Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.</i></li><li><i>Partners with team and management in the development of the strategic plan and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the function.</i></li><li><i>Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.</i></li><li><i>Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customer requirements.</i></li><li><i>Coordinates production activities with other functional groups such as planning and distribution.</i></li><li><i>Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.</i></li><li><i>Accountable for controlling manufacturing operation and ensuring that production quality and cost targets are met. </i></li><li><i>Working in extremely complex problems where the research of situations or data from an evaluation of intangible factors.</i></li><li><i>Reviews budgets and schedules required by management.</i></li><li><i>Regulate relations with the executives and/or major customers to maintain relationships with them.</i></li><li><i>Resolve controversial situations, customer negotiations, or influencing and persuading management levels for the achievements of the plant.</i></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</span></b></p><p></p><p><i>• BA/BS degree.</i></p><p><i>• NPI experience</i></p><p><i>• Basic english</i></p><p><i>• Experience in similar position in metals manufacturing environment.</i></p><p><i>• Experience in product lifecycle systems (Agile)</i></p><p><i>• Experience in the use of Floor shop systems.</i></p><p><i>• Experience in ECO's implementation.</i></p><p><i>• • Knowledge in assembly processes (End to End).</i></p><p><i>• Experience in BAAN system (SAP).</i></p><p><i>• Decision maker.</i></p><p><i>• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions</i></p><p><i>• Ability to read, analyze and interpret MPI.</i></p><p><i>• Excellent communication skills.</i></p><p><i>• Systems integrity.</i></p><p></p><p><b><span>What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Competitive Salary.</span></li><li><span>Life & Medical insurance.</span></li><li><span>Christmas Bonus.</span></li><li><span>Food Coupons.</span></li><li><span>Saving Fund.</span></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>IS81</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Operations<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Required Skills:</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Optional Skills:</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span>Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
