If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p>The “<b><span>Production Manager</span></b>” will be based in <b>Bukit Minyak.</b></p><p>Guides and coordinates activities of employees engaged in the following areas of a manufacturing department; multi-level assembly, electronic card/system testing and quality assurance to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Guides department activities to hold up design of new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and helps on test procedures.</p></li><li><p>Explores technology trends and market demand to plan projects.</p></li><li><p>Contributes with management, production, and marketing staff to resolve manufacturing feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.</p></li><li><p>Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.</p></li><li><p>Partners with team and management in the development of the strategic plan and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the function.</p></li><li><p>Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.</p></li><li><p>Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements.</p></li><li><p>Coordinates production activities with other functional groups such as planning and distribution.</p></li><li><p>Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.</p></li><li><p>Accountable for controlling manufacturing operation and ensuring that production quality and cost targets are met.</p></li><li><p>Working in extremely complex problems where the research of situations or data from an evaluation of intangible factors.</p></li><li><p>Reviews budgets and schedules required by management.</p></li><li><p>Regulate relations with the executives and/or major customers to maintain relationships with them.</p></li><li><p>Resolve controversial situations, customer negotiations, or influencing and persuading management levels for the achievements of the plant.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in addition to 5 years of operations experience.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates advanced people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.</p></li><li><p>To perform the major job responsibilities the use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills: telephones, word processing, spreadsheet (PC), presentation and database software.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of company and related business.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Here are a few examples of what you’ll get for the great work you provide:</b></p><ul><li><p>Medical benefits, dental, vision</p></li><li><p>Life Insurance</p></li><li><p>Paid Time Off</p></li><li><p>Bonuses</p></li></ul><p></p><p>KJ19</p><p></p><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Operations<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Required Skills:</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Optional Skills:</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span>Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
