Don't hesitate, come and join us! </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>About this opportunity – Production Lead FIRST Shift</strong></p> <p>Work Hours 530am – 130pm, OT as necessary.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Description</strong></p> <p>Working with assigned equipment in the functions related to basic manufacturing activities. Working in a clean room environment building multiple medical devices by following Manufacturing Process (MP) and following a lean manufacturing process to achieve daily builds.</p> <p><strong> </strong><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong> </strong>Works with a variety of equipment including ovens, UV curing stations, soldering irons</p> <ul> <li>Defines and corrects problems as they arise.</li> <li>Identify cause of common process problems and provide alternative solutions for resolving them.</li> <li>Works independently to meet production objective.</li> <li>Develops new techniques and written procedures to enhance productivity.</li> <li>Provides technical leadership on the production floor.</li> <li>Build medical devices to meet the company goals                                    </li> <li>Meet production manufacturing Safety; Quality and Services goals</li> <li>Follow GMP guidelines                      </li> <li>Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed</li> <li>Ability to perform and demonstrate all Manufacturing procedures after training.</li> <li>Compliance to all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adherence to CER gowning and personnel hygiene requirements</li> <li>Packages finished assemblies or subassemblies</li> <li>Responsible for leading daily production operations.</li> <li>High degree of initiative and can perform some administrative work.</li> <li>Work as facilitator and team leader.</li> <li>Delivers day to day high impact achievements for production.</li> <li>Works closely with Engineers to identify potential of adjustments or enhancements to solve problems or to improve effectiveness.</li> <li>Communicates with internal and external contacts as required</li> <li>Communicates production information of significant importance to all job areas.</li> <li>Assists Supervisor on daily tasks and assigns tasks to other team members and may provide input to team members.</li> <li>Requires advanced knowledge of production systems through prior work experience</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualification Requirements</strong></p> <p>Good written and oral communication.</p> <p>Detailed orientated.</p> <p>Comprehension of technical documentation and engineering drawings.</p> <p>Knowledge of clean room procedures</p> <p><strong>Skills</strong></p> <p>HS Diploma or equivalent minimum 5 years previous manufacturing assembly experience.</p> <p>Able to perform common assembly process.</p> <p>Able to handle and assemble of small parts.</p> <p>Prior experience in a medical device industry.</p> <p>General computer skills including Word, Excel and Access</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Work Environment </strong></p> <p>Working conditions are normal for an office environment.</p> <p>The above information on this description have been designed to indicate the general nature of work performed by employees within this position.
