This individual will lead all planning, scheduling, and material flow activities for our manufacturing plant. In addition, this role is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery, optimized inventory, efficient production execution from raw material planning through finished goods shipment, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong manufacturing experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate across Production, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality teams. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our <b>Auburn, AL</b> facility.</p><p></p><p><b>Role Responsibilities: </b></p><p><b><i>Production Planning &amp; Scheduling</i></b></p><ul><li><p>Develop and manage the Production Schedule to meet customer demand.</p></li><li><p>Translate the schedules into detailed daily and weekly production schedules.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate planning parameters (lead times, routings, BOMs) within the ERP/MRP system.</p></li><li><p>Participate and lead in S&amp;OP to align forecast, capacity, and inventory targets.</p></li><li><p>Assist in buyers and planners in managing components or schedules needed</p></li><li><p>Assist in budget planning</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>Materials &amp; Inventory Management</i></b></p><ul><li><p>Oversee <b>MRP execution</b>, ensuring timely release of work orders and purchase requisitions.</p></li><li><p>Prevent shortages by ensuring material availability across all production lines.</p></li><li><p>Lead cycle counts, inventory accuracy initiatives, and root cause investigations.</p></li><li><p>Optimize inventory levels to improve inventory turns and support customer service.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>Cross-Functional Leadership</i></b></p><ul><li><p>Lead daily production and materials alignment meetings to address constraints.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Engineering on ECNs, new product introductions, and production ramp-ups.</p></li><li><p>Work with Quality to manage controlled materials, quarantines, and rework planning.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>Continuous Improvement</i></b></p><ul><li><p>Implement Lean tools such as Kanban, JIT, 6S, and value stream mapping.</p></li><li><p>Improve ERP/MRP data integrity, planning parameters, and scheduling accuracy.</p></li><li><p>Develop and publish KPI dashboards.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>Team Leadership</i></b></p><ul><li><p>Lead, coach, and develop a team of planners, schedulers, and materials analysts.</p></li><li><p>Create standard work, training, and development plans for PC team members.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications: </b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree</p></li><li><p><span>3&#43; years of experience in production planning, materials management, or manufacturing operations</span></p></li><li><p><span>2&#43; years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field</span></p></li><li><p>Experience with Kanban systems, PFEP, and advanced scheduling tools.</p></li><li><p>Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel for reporting and analytics.</p></li><li><p>Strong Team Leadership experience</p></li><li><p>Effective communication to variety of levels, internal and external. </p></li><li><p>Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle</p></li><li><p>Strong working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Infor, Dynamics, etc.).</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience with Lean manufacturing practices.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Relocation:</b> This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.</p><p></p><p><b>Immigration Sponsorship Not Available:</b></p><ul><li><p>Applicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.).</p></li><li><p>Donaldson will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.</p></li><li><p>International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Keywords: </b>production control, manufacturing, manager, order process, material flow, Oracle, customer engagement</p><p></p><p>Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability and Veterans</p><p></p><p></p><p><span><span>Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
