This role partners closely with engineering, data science, and design teams, as applicable, to develop repeatable, production-grade tools and capabilities that meet customer needs. The Product Manager is responsible for translating business and client requirements into clear product direction, prioritizing work, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions. Operating within an established product and platform strategy, this role focuses on execution, delivery, and continuous improvement to drive measurable customer and business impact.</p><p>This person will:</p><p>Own the product vision and roadmap for assigned products or capabilities, aligned with broader product and platform strategy.</p><p>Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and design (as applicable), to deliver product enhancements and new capabilities.</p><p>Translate business needs and client requirements into clear functional, technical, and analytical product requirements.</p><p>Prioritize product features, enhancements, and backlog items based on business value, customer impact, feasibility, and risk.</p><p>Clearly communicate product direction and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and clients.</p><p>Partner with engineering and delivery teams to define scope, delivery plans, timelines, and effort estimates.</p><p>Contribute input to requirements, statements of work, and delivery planning while partnering with leadership on budgeting and resourcing decisions.</p><p>Establish and use tools and processes to facilitate effective communication and collaboration across product and delivery teams.</p><p>Work with internal and external customers to identify unmet needs and inform product decisions and backlog prioritization.</p><p>Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and external stakeholders.</p><p>Ensure product requirements and delivery align with applicable healthcare, life sciences, data privacy, and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, GxP where applicable).</p><p>Track and monitor product-level success metrics such as adoption, usability, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness, and use insights to drive continuous improvement.</p><p>Mentor and support Associate Product Managers and junior team members within the product organization.</p><p></p><h2><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></h2><h3><b>Education & Experience</b></h3><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Information Systems, Management, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Experience managing the execution and delivery of software, technology-enabled, or data-enabled products in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.</p></li></ul><h3><b>Product & Delivery</b></h3><ul><li><p>Strong ability to translate complex business problems into clear product requirements.</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of product development lifecycles and agile or iterative delivery methodologies.</p></li><li><p>Experience using roadmap, issue, and backlog management systems to plan, prioritize, and deliver product work.</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.</p></li></ul><h3><b>Data & Technical Literacy</b></h3><ul><li><p>Understanding of business intelligence strategy and data science and engineering workflows, as relevant to the product domain.</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of data-informed product environments and analytics concepts sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineering and data teams when applicable.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of healthcare or life sciences data, compliance, and privacy considerations preferred.</p></li></ul><h3><b>Collaboration & Communication</b></h3><ul><li><p>Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, and data science, as appropriate to the product.</p></li><li><p>Experience leveraging modern design and AI-enabled tools to accelerate product discovery and prototyping, and collaborating with UX designers when deeper design expertise is required.</p></li><li><p>Strong ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and translate business requirements into technical specifications.</p></li><li><p>Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.</p></li></ul><h3><b>Ways of Working</b></h3><ul><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-informed product decisions where relevant.</p></li><li><p>Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and working with multiple stakeholders to deliver results.</p></li><li><p>Motivated, self-directed learner with a continuous improvement mindset.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Get to know Syneos Health</b></p><p><br />Over the past 5 years, we have worked with 94% of all Novel FDA Approved Drugs, 95% of EMA Authorized Products and over 200 Studies across 73,000 Sites and 675,000+ Trial patients.</p><p></p><p>No matter what your role is, you’ll take the initiative and challenge the status quo with us in a highly competitive and ever-changing environment.
