This is a global role at the intersection of biotechnology, analytical chemistry, data analytics, and artificial intelligence, with direct impact on customer success, innovation, and business growth.</p><p>The ideal candidate brings deep scientific expertise, strong product leadership, and a passion for translating complex customer challenges into differentiated analytical and AI-enabled solutions. This role is critical to shaping the future of bioproduction analytics and delivering exceptional customer experiences in the rapidly evolving biologics landscape.</p><p></p><p><b>Location:</b></p><p>This is an onsite position in Hunt Valley, MD or Grand Island, NY. Residency within commuting distance of either locations required. No relocation assistance provided.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p></p><p>Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership</p><p>· Own and manage the global bioproduction analytical services portfolio, including media analytics, protein analytics, stability studies and investigative analytics</p><p>· Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies encompassing:</p><p>o Market and customer needs assessment</p><p>o Competitive and pricing analysis</p><p>o Service positioning and lifecycle management</p><p>· Identify future service requirements and growth opportunities aligned with biologics and advanced therapies trends.</p><p>· Collaborate closely with R&D, technical teams, marketing, sales, and manufacturing to ensure seamless service development, launch, and execution.</p><p>· Lead and facilitate Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to enable data-driven decisions across the portfolio.</p><p>· Maintain close relationships with field organizations (sales, technical support) through training and active participation in the sales and support process</p><p>· Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory requirements impacting analytical services. Apply insights to proactively evolve the service portfolio.</p><p></p><p><b>Innovation, AI & Advanced Analytics</b></p><p>· Lead initiatives to integrate AI and data-driven solutions into analytical services and media development workflows</p><p>· Drive innovation through internal development and external partnerships or collaborations.</p><p>· Translate emerging technologies into scalable, customer-ready offerings.</p><p>Hands-On Scientific Contribution</p><p>· Contribute directly to hands-on analytical chemistry work, as needed, including (but not limited to) raw materials analysis.</p><p>· Serve as a technical thought partner to laboratory and scientific teams.</p><p></p><p><b>Business & Financial Ownership</b></p><p>· Deliver against annual revenue, growth, and profitability commitments for bioproduction analytical services.</p><p>· Partner with commercial teams to position and present analytical service offerings to customers, driving market adoption and top-line growth.</p><p>· Act as the product champion, clearly articulating value propositions internally and externally.</p><p>· Collaborate closely with R&D, technical teams, marketing, sales, and manufacturing to ensure seamless service development, launch, and execution.</p><p></p><p><b>Qualifications & Experience</b></p><p>Required Qualifications</p><p>· Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.</p><p>· 5+ years of experience in product management, scientific services, analytical development, or a related role</p><p>· Strong technical background in bioproduction analytics, such as media analytics, protein characterization, stability studies, or investigative analytics.</p><p>· Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product or service strategies, including market assessment, positioning, pricing, and lifecycle management.</p><p>· Proven experience working cross-functionally with R&D, laboratory teams, marketing, sales, and commercial organizations.</p><p>· Strong customer-facing experience, including customer engagements, presentations, and VOC activities.</p><p>· Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear value propositions for diverse audiences.</p><p>· Strong business acumen with experience supporting revenue growth, financial targets, and profitability.</p><p>· Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.</p><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><p>· Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.</p><p>· Hands-on experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory, particularly within bioproduction or biologics development.</p><p>· Experience integrating or deploying data analytics, digital solutions, or AI/ML technologies within scientific or laboratory workflows.</p><p>· Familiarity with bioprocess development, biologics manufacturing, and upstream/downstream workflows.</p><p>· Experience working in a global, matrixed organization and supporting international markets.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Compensation and Benefits</b></u></p>The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $114,000.00–$151,000.00.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
