If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p><span>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an <b>Senior Product Engineer </b>located in<b> SG, Kallang.</b></span></p><p></p><p><b>What a typical day looks like:</b></p><ul><li>Responsible for product engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a manufacturing organization.</li><li>Coordinate with customers to determine product specifications, bill of materials, test methods, test software and design changes and responds to their request.</li><li>Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.</li><li>Develop, evaluate, and improve both manufacturing and test methods for productivity, better yield and through put.</li><li>Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process and test parameters.</li><li>Troubleshoot process and test related issues and resolves the problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.</li><li>Develop and maintain product related (both process and test) documentation.</li><li>Analyze and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.</li><li>Coordinate development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment required to test and record test data.</li><li>Co-ordinate and work on the requirements for equipment and process validations.</li><li>Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.</li><li>Provide training to production personnel during new product transfer or product design changes.</li><li>Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required.</li><li>Participate in cost improvement/reduction programs as part of LEAN.</li><li>Contribute to the workplace safety and health improvement for the employees, as well as environmental protection, by adhering to the company’s Environmental,</li><li>Health and Safety policies and procedures, and helping to achieve EHS objectives and targets through participation of EHS programs.</li><li>Participate and adhere to Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) policy, programs and procedures.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The experience we're looking to add to the team:</b></p><ul><li>Relevant education background in Manufacturing Engineering</li><li>Technical knowledge of System box build</li><li>Able to read and understand 2D drawings, schematics for components</li><li>English speaking - other languages desirable to communicate with large customer base</li><li>PC Literate: Word, Excel, Power Point, AutoCAD etc.</li><li>Knowledge in CAD system basics</li><li>Good technical and commercial communication skills.
