This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of our BOMs throughout the product lifecycle. This position also supports the Engineering team and projects, including NPI.</span>to ensure customer satisfaction and to deliver maximum advantage to the business.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:</span></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM)for our product lines using Agile PLM and Baan ERP system, incorporating engineering specifications, design changes, and component requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure BOMs accurately reflect product designs and configurations developed in CAD systems like SolidWorks and AutoCAD.</li><li>Work closely with Procurement to manage component inventory levels within Baan ERP and ensure availability of materials for production and prototyping.</li><li>Conduct regular audits of BOMs within Agile PLM and Baan ERP to identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies, and implement corrective actions as needed.</li><li>Support manufacturing operations by providing accurate BOM information from Agile PLM for production planning and scheduling.</li><li>Participate in cross-functional teams to address BOM-related issues within Agile PLM and drive continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Develop and maintain documentation related to BOMs within<b> Agile PLM,</b> including revision control and change management processes.</li><li>Stay informed about industry standards and best practices related to BOM management and documentation within Agile PLM.</li><li>Execute engineering change orders and update product data</li><li>Assist with preparation of engineering documents including drawings, specifications, process documentation and assembly instructions.</li><li>Maintain records and files for all completed engineering work in both electronic and paper versions as required.</li><li>Assist with 5S programs.</li><li>Assist other functional areas as directed.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Here is some of what you’ll need:</span></b></p><ul><li>Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field</li><li>3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Experience in medical manufacturing is a <i><u>Preferred</u></i></li><li>Experience with Agile <i><u>Preferred</u></i></li><li>Proficiency in Agile PLM or similar PLM systems</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint</li><li>Excels at documenting their processes and helps make improvements to their job through system and process improvements</li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-</p><p>YV1</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>What you&#39;ll receive for the great work you provide:</b></p><ul><li>Full range of medical, dental, and vision plans</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Short-term and Long-term Disability</li><li>Matching 401(k) Contributions</li><li>Vacation and Paid Sick Time</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Production Engineering<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Relocation: Not eligible<h2></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Is Sponsorship Available?</p>No<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
