ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Role Overview
The Procurement Specialist – Marketing Customer Solution is responsible for executing sourcing and procurement activities for Marketing Customer Solution (Activation, Print/POSM, Promotional Items). This role ensures cost optimization, supplier performance, compliance, and alignment with business needs while supporting both regional procurement strategies and local operational requirements.

- Direct Reports: None
- Key Stakeholders: Marketing, Trade, Finance, Accounting, Regional Procurement teams, and external agencies
- Work Location: Melinh Point Tower, 2 Ngo Duc Ke, Sai Gon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City
- Work Model: Onsite (Hybrid optional depending on company policy)
Key Responsibilities Strategic & Category Management - Marketing Customer Solution
- Identify sourcing needs, analyze supplier markets, and develop local sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Implement global/regional category strategies for Marketing Category at the local level.
- Track market trends, cost drivers, and industry developments to support budget planning and informed decision‑making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Marketing category.
Sourcing & Contracting Management
- Lead end‑to‑end sourcing processes including RFI/RFQ/RFP, supplier evaluation, and commercial negotiations.
- Ensure contract terms align with business objectives, legal requirements, and risk‑mitigation standards.
- Manage contract renewals, performance reviews, and compliance with procurement policies.
Cost & Value Optimization
- Deliver cost‑saving, cost‑avoidance, and value‑creation initiatives across Marketing spend.
- Maintain accurate cost analyses, pricing benchmarks, and market intelligence reports.
- Support the business in negotiating optimized commercial terms with agencies and service providers.
Supplier Management
- Support evaluation and onboarding of potential suppliers based on local requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure performance meets business expectations.
- Promote inclusion of diverse suppliers in RFP and contracting processes where applicable.
- Manage supplier performance and address issues or claims in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong partnerships with internal teams, particularly Marketing and Trade to understand business needs and ensure procurement compliance.
- Stay abreast of Vietnamese regulations relevant to procurement and marketing operations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve complaints or disputes with suppliers.
Operational Procurement
Manage daily procurement operations, including PO issuance and documentation accuracy.
- Ensure procurement activities adhere to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit readiness.
- Support reporting tasks, data maintenance, and process improvement initiatives.
MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Experience
- 2–3 years of professional experience in procurement or sourcing; experience in Marketing Services procurement is a strong advantage.
- Experience in multinational or FMCG environments preferred.
Core Skills
- Strong negotiation and commercial analysis skills
- Excellent communication in both English and Vietnamese
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Ariba/Coupa) is a plus
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
- Strong stakeholder‑management and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
