Unfortunately, relocation assistance is NOT provided. </p><ul><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. </li><li>Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screen. <br /> </li></ul><p><br />DESCRIPTION:<br />Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll manage and enhance strategic sourcing initiatives as a Procurement/Sourcing Specialist III. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll drive sourcing strategies, <span>prepare data and analyze cost trends, and</span> manage supplier relationships to deliver value through cost savings, risk mitigation, and supply chain optimization. You'll support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer by ensuring reliable, cost-effective procurement of critical materials and services.<br /><br />REQUIREMENTS:<br />• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of procurement/sourcing experience in mid to large multinational companies, within a manufacturing / pharmaceutical environment<br />• Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Supply Chain Management,<br />• Professional certifications (CPSM, CSCP, CPM) are desirable<br />• Proven success executing strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract management<br />• Experience working in regulated industries like life sciences, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals preferred<br />• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities<br />• Proficiency with SAP and other ERP systems, spend analytics, and procurement tools<br />• Excellent communication and relationship building skills<br />• Ability to build consensus and collaborate across global matrix organizations<br />• Demonstrated success in achieving cost savings and process improvements<br />• Strong project management capabilities<br />• Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial<br />• Comprehensive understanding of procurement best practices, processes and methodologies<br />• Experience with continuous improvement/lean methodologies<br />• Demonstrated negotiation and supplier relationship management skills<br />• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Compensation and Benefits</b></u></p>The salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $90,900.00–$125,000.00.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
