Procurement Master Data & Governance Specialist (SSC)

<div><p><span>This role carries end-to-end responsibility for procurement master data within the defined scope, supporting SSC setup and transition, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in master data management and governance.</span></p></div><div></div><div></div><div><div><h1><b><span>Your Challenges</span></b></h1></div><div><ul><li><p><span>End-to-end responsibility for procurement master data within the defined scope (supplier, purchasing info record, procurement related attributes and workflows (e.g. material master)).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Implement, enforce and monitor centrally defined procurement master data standards (ownership remains with GP Governance &amp; Processes).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Validate, approve and release master data changes in SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, LN INFOR and related systems.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure data completeness, accuracy and consistency across systems.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Take over defined procurement master data scopes from global procurement entities during transition phases.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support the stabilization and harmonization of existing master data during SSC ramp-up.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Establish repeatable, scalable master data processes to ensure long-term SSC operability.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Prepare master data structures and workflows to enable supplier operations activities.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Act as central point of contact for procurement master data topics for German and international procurement stakeholders.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Clarify incomplete, incorrect or non-standard master data requests and ensure compliance with defined governance.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Closely collaborate with IT and GP Governance &amp; Processes to resolve system- and process-related master data issues.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Identify and document opportunities to optimize master data processes, data quality, efficiency and process stability.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Propose improvement initiatives to GP Governance &amp; Processes and Procurement Excellence for decision and prioritization.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support the further development and operationalization of GP governance frameworks.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p></div><h1><b><span>Your Expertise</span></b></h1><div><ul><li><p>Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management or a comparable field</p></li><li><p>Minimum 3–5 years ofyears of experience in procurement master data management , procurement operations or supply chain processes.</p></li><li><p>Experience in an international environment; experience in Shared Service Center setups is an advantage</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of procurement processes and master data structures.</p></li><li><p>Strong practical experience with procurement and ERP systems (e.g. SAP ECC, LN INFOR, SAP Ariba)</p></li><li><p>Advanced MS Office skills, especially Power BI (or similar reporting tools) and Excel for data analysis and reporting.</p></li><li><p>High attention to detail combined with the ability to enforce standards consistently.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Excellent command of English, written and spoken.</p></li><li><p>Ability and willingness to read and process procurement master data in German (training/ support provided)</p></li><li><p>German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.</p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b>Your benefits at Eppendorf:</b></h1><ul><li><p>We truly appreciate our employees and their performance</p></li><li><p>We offer a wide range of learning and development opportunities to allow you to deepen your technical knowledge and for continuous growth</p></li><li><p>By working with us, you will make a meaningful contribution to improving human living conditions</p></li><li><p>Attractive salary, employee benefits and performance bonus</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Eppendorf is an equal opportunity employer.
