Work Flexibility: Onsite<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p></p><p><b>23 Month Fixed Term Contract</b></p><p></p><p><b>Engineer, Process Optimisation</b></p><p></p><p></p><h2>Position Summary</h2><p>Provides Engineering support to a process, project, or function. Knows and applies fundamental Engineering principles throughout the course of their duties.</p><h2></h2><h2>Key Areas of Responsibility</h2><p></p><ul><li>Support process development activities for a significant process optimisation project.</li><li>Lead the change control process for a significant process optimisation project liaising with local and divisional functions.</li><li>Demonstrate the use of problem-solving skills requiring the application of engineering principles, calculations, and computational methods in approaching technical challenges.</li><li>Interface with Materials Science and Divisional partners on understanding the manufacturing process in depth.</li><li>Communicate and participate in system and process troubleshooting with support from team members and external agents.</li><li>Provide engineering support for new process introduction.</li><li>Engage in the implementation of lean manufacture within manufacturing.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><h2>Qualifications Knowledge Skills</h2><ul><li>Level 8 Degree in Engineering, Science or related discipline or equivalent technical experience.</li></ul><ul><li>Has 0- 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Business understanding of operations and there impacts essential.</li><li>Detail orientated with a passion for optimizing existing and new processes.</li><li>High level of PC Skills required.</li><li>Flexibility essential.</li><li>Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.</li><li>The individual should enjoy working in a dynamic and results motivated team environment.</li><li>Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry beneficial.</li><li>Experience in a six sigma and Lean Manufacturing environment with proven improvement results.</li><li>Green or Black Belt 6 Sigma qualifications.</li><li>Ability to effectively work cross-functionally as required.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p> <b> </b></p><p><b>Employee Signature: Date:</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Travel Percentage: 10%<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
