Work Flexibility: Onsite<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><b>Process Improvement SME, Logistics Operations</b></h2><p>Permanent Contract</p><p>Newbury, UK</p><h2><br /><br />What you will do:</h2><p></p><p><b>Process Controls / Performance Monitoring</b></p><ul><li><p>Monitor and improve processes following the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle.</p></li><li><p>Support in implementing strategies and methods to ensure that the processes meet performance targets.</p></li><li><p>Strengthen quality control processes in collaboration with key team members and other stakeholders.</p></li></ul><p><b>Process Improvements</b></p><ul><li><p>Analyse and optimize warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.</p></li><li><p>Conduct data analysis and provide detailed improvement recommendations.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to innovation and process optimization.</p></li></ul><p><b>Warehouse Operations</b></p><ul><li><p>Oversee storage, shipping, and receiving processes.</p></li><li><p>Address complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with internal and external parties to resolve issues and apply preventive measures.</p></li></ul><p><b>System and IT Support</b></p><ul><li><p>Act as an ERP system superuser and participate in IT-related projects.</p></li><li><p>Provide input for system changes and support process testing.</p></li></ul><p><b>Projects</b></p><ul><li><p>Participate in new projects and advise on project timelines, risks, and opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Assist in business integration and support capacity planning for growth.</p></li><li><p>Support in mapping department capacity needs to ensure flexibility and scalability for business growth, new products, services, and mergers &amp; acquisitions.</p></li></ul><p><b>KPI’s</b></p><ul><li><p>Support in developing and maintaining performance indicators and reports to ensure system efficiency.</p></li></ul><p><b>Quality</b></p><ul><li><p>Support in creating work instructions and process documentation.</p></li><li><p>Improve and streamline business processes for automation and optimization.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><h2><b>What you will need:</b></h2><p></p><p><b>Education</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in operations, warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain required.</p></li><li><p>2-5 years&#39; experience in logistics, warehousing, and distribution management.</p></li><li><p>Lean Six Sigma (for process improvement)</p></li><li><p>Project Management (e.g., PMP) (for handling projects)</p></li><li><p>ERP System Training (SAP, Oracle).</p></li></ul><p><b>Experience</b></p><ul><li><p>Strong understanding of Department, LS or VAS and operations in terms of set-up, capacity planning and optimization.</p></li><li><p>Extensive knowledge of LS / VAS, and related warehouse management systems &amp; processes.</p></li><li><p>Experience of working in the Medical Devices industry (ISO13485).</p></li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Travel Percentage: 10%<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
