Process Engineering Co-op

<p><span style="color:#000000"><span>The Process Engineering Co-op will provide hands-on experience that highlights the innovation and teamwork of CSL Seqirus, a leading influenza vaccines manufacturing organization with operations in Holly Springs, NC. Over the course of this co-op program, the student will have opportunity to work on challenging projects that contribute to our vision to save lives and protect the health of people around the world.<br />Beyond making an impact through their work, students will grow both personally and professionally while building meaningful relationships across the team.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span><br />Operating under the general guidance of the Process Engineering Management Team, you will provide technical support for troubleshooting, investigations, and implementing corrective actions, while also supporting implementation projects.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span><br /><b>Key Responsibilities</b><br /> Provide technical support for unit operations across the site.<br /> Lead investigations and resolve issues to root cause; implement corrective actions.<br /> Execute simple change controls and commissioning.<br /> Troubleshoot system/equipment-related issues and develop sound engineering solutions.<br /> Perform engineering tasks for design, procurement, fabrication, and commissioning phases associated with standard or custom systems.<br /> Support engineering strategy to ensure reliable, safe operation of process equipment and utility systems during and after installation.<br /><b>Scope / Accountability</b><br /> Process equipment and systems related to assignments.<br /> Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and Seqirus engineering standards.<br /><b>Decision Making</b><br /> Solve problems requiring technical knowledge and complexity.<br /> Assist others in troubleshooting when familiar with or have prior exposure.<br /><b>Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies</b><br /> Applies functional and technical expertise to solve complex problems/issues affecting the team.<br /> Develops skills in multiple functional areas and identifies ways to streamline<br />processes.<br /> Acts as a source of technical expertise, serving as a role model for others and continually acquiring new skills.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span><br /><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></span></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><span> Actively pursuing a Bachelor&#39;s in Engineering with emphasis in Chemical<br />Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical<br />Engineering, Computer Science / Engineering or Biomedical Engineering<br /> Demonstrated academic performance to meet school standards for ongoing participation in the co-op program<br /> Strong technical aptitude and an analytic approach to problem solving<br /> Demonstrates excellent skills in organization, team dynamics, effective communication and prioritization of tasks<br /> Enthusiasm to learn new tools &amp; technologies<br /> Maintains professional behavior</span></span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p></p><h2><b>About CSL Seqirus</b></h2><p>CSL Seqirus is part of CSL.
