If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p><b>General Purpose:</b><span> </span></p><p><span>This position is responsible for providing support to all injection molding operations, reducing scrap and set-up times, optimizing cycle times, and performing validations related to materials, presses, and molds as necessary, with a sharp focus on continuous improvement.</span></p><p></p><p><b>Principle Accountabilities</b><b><span>:</span></b></p><ul><li>Establish a robust process window for all injection molded components using Scientific Molding techniques along with Design for Experiments (DOE’s)Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies and techniques</li><li>Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements and utilization, and equipment layout</li><li>Coordinates maintenance and drive technical activities for cGMP compliant manufacturing improvement</li><li>Conduct process validation and optimization activities, including DOE (Design of Experiments) studies, process capability analysis, and root cause analysis, to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance process robustness.</li><li>Create and manage process documentation such as work instructions and set-up instructions</li><li>Develop new manufacturing equipment and processes; write equipment specifications.</li><li>Define equipment maintenance requirements, identify root-causes of equipment failures and develop hands-on maintenance skills.</li><li>Prepares technical writing including new Procedures, URS, Risk Assessments, Safety Assessments, and Functionality Tests</li><li>Work with other engineering stakeholders and customers on problem solving and continuous improvement to the design of equipment and products and may develop corrective and preventive action plans</li><li>May be involved in development and update of PFMEA for new products</li><li>May participate in control plan development</li><li>Write and update work instructions and other documents (e.g. specifications, procedures)</li><li>Examines and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.</li><li>Confers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.</li><li>Coordinates with customers to identify product specifications and design changes and responds to customer request.</li><li>Provides information for management recommendations from a technical and technical cost perspective.</li><li>Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.</li><li>Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering</li><li>8&#43;
