This position as Process Engineer is temporary as a maternity cover.

The Process Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvements in agarose manufacturing processes, providing technical support to ongoing production operations, and supporting Pilot Plant activities to enable process development and optimisation. You will be a main driver in implementing new technologies in production and validate the functionality afterwards.

This position reports to the Site Director and is part of the Cytiva Denmark Manufacturing organization located in Vallensbaek Strand, Denmark, and will be an on-site role. 

What you will do:

• Implementation and validation of new equipment
• Support to daily production
• Support to activities in pilot plant

Who you are:

• Mechanical Engineer, Process Engineer or other relevant technical education with +5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with purchasing, installation and validation of new equipment
• Good technical understanding of production equipment and production processes
• Full professional proficiency in Danish or other Scandinavian language and English

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience from manufacturing industry within chemicals, food, food ingredients, pharmaceuticals or similar.
