The Process Engineer p<span>lans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support in the development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing systems per project requirements.</span></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Define and implement manufacturing systems appropriate for customer applications.</li><li><span>Support manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, Yield, Scrap and Downtime.</span></li><li>Establish and improve robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.</li><li><span>Capability to independently or together with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.</span></li><li><span>Advanced troubleshooting of complex mechanical issues with high-speed </span><span>automated manufacturing equipment.</span></li><li><span>Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required.</span></li><li>Understanding the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.</li><li>Support creation and implementation of engineering change orders (ECOs).</li><li>Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.</li><li><span>Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.</span></li><li>Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.</li><li>Develop and maintain process documentation.</li><li><span>Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel. </span></li><li>Define, Implement, and evaluate proposed design updates and processes.</li><li>Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.</li><li><span>Create work instructions and coordinate training for facilities and production personnel.</span></li><li>Coordinate/participate in pFMEA of manufacturing processes</li><li>Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>B.S. in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in related field.</li><li><span>Minimum 2 years of experience working in a medical manufacturing or other highly regulated manufacturing environment.</span></li><li><span>Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering experience working in high-volume assembly processes.</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of automated equipment systems and tools - robotics, vision, material handling/part feeding systems, conveyors, ultrasonic welding, foil sealing, HMI/PLC controls.</span></li><li>Travel required – 5%</li></ul><p></p><p>MF15</p><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>What you&#39;ll receive for the great work you provide:</b></p><ul><li>Full range of medical, dental, and vision plans</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Short-term and Long-term Disability</li><li>Matching 401(k) Contributions</li><li>Vacation and Paid Sick Time</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois)<h3></h3><h3></h3>$96,400.00 USD - $132,500.00 USD Annual<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Production Engineering<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Relocation: Not eligible<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Is Sponsorship Available?</p>No<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
