<h2><b>Career Category</b></h2>Information Systems<h2></h2><h2><b>Job Description</b></h2><p>As a UX Designer / Researcher at Amgen India, you will be part of the design and research function within Amgen’s AI/ML Innovation Lab.</p><p><br />You’ll translate complex AI/ML concepts into intuitive, human-centered digital experiences that align with Amgen’s brand and accessibility standards.</p><p><br />This role requires a balance of creative design thinking and data-driven UX research skills.</p><p><br /><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Conduct user research, interviews, and usability studies to inform product design decisions.</li><li>Design paper wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys that bring AI-driven workflows to life.</li><li>Collaborate with Amgen’s UX lead and developers to ensure design alignment and implementation fidelity.</li><li>Translate AI outputs and analytics into clear, actionable user interfaces.</li><li>Ensure consistency with Amgen’s design language system (DLS) and accessibility guidelines.</li><li>Synthesize user insights into design recommendations and iterative improvements.</li><li>Document findings, maintain UX artifacts, and support UX governance practices.</li></ul><p><br /><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>12–17 years of experience in UX design and/or user research.</li><li>Strong portfolio demonstrating data-heavy or AI-based interface design.</li><li>Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Miro, or similar tools is a plus.</li><li>Understanding of information architecture, accessibility, and usability principles.</li><li>Experience working in cross-functional agile teams.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li></ul><p><br /><b>Preferred Skills</b></p><ul><li>Familiarity with GenAI-assisted design workflows and conversational UI/UX.</li><li>Exposure to enterprise product or life sciences platforms.</li><li>Knowledge of UX research methodologies (surveys, heuristic evaluations, analytics).</li><li>Certification in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or UX Design or Strategic Design Management preferred.</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>.
