What if your code could change a life?
Not metaphorically. Not eventually. But directly, through the data you shape, the analyses you run, and the submissions you help bring to life.
At Bristol Myers Squibb, we're on a mission to transform patients' lives through science and in our Neuroscience therapy area, that mission couldn't feel more urgent. We're working on some of the most complex, high-stakes challenges in medicine today and we need someone like you to help us get there.
This is your seat at the table
As a Principal Statistical Programmer here at BMS, you won't be buried in a back-office function. You'll be central to how clinical data gets shaped, interpreted, and presented to the regulators who decide whether a new therapy reaches the patients who need it most.
You'll lead programming strategy on real clinical projects. You'll build the technical solutions that turn raw clinical trial data into the evidence that matters. And when a regulatory submission lands, you'll know your fingerprints are on it, in the best possible way.
This is a role where your expertise doesn't just support the science. It drives it forward.
What your days will actually look like
You'll be hands-on and highly visible - leading programming teams, partnering with biostatisticians, data managers, clinical scientists and setting the technical direction for how data flows from collection to submission.
Here's what you'll own:
Why now?
When you contribute here, you're not programming in a vacuum. You're building the evidence base for treatments that could redefine how the world manages some of its most challenging diseases.
What you bring
You're not here to learn the basics - you're here to lead. You'll thrive in this role if you have:
What you'll gain
Ready to make your work matter?
If you're a Statistical Programmer who wants more than a job description - who wants to be part of something that genuinely changes lives - we'd love to hear from you.
