Imagene is seeking a Translational Scientist to join our Science Team and play a central role in advancing the integration of cutting-edge AI capabilities into healthcare-driven projects and AI-based solutions. In this role, you will lead collaborative initiatives with academic and biopharma partners, provide scientific oversight from study design through data interpretation, and contribute directly to the development and implementation of Imagene’s AI-based solutions. The position combines scientific leadership with hands-on involvement, requiring the ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This opportunity is ideal for a scientist with a strong record of scientific excellence, cross-disciplinary fluency and deep curiosity about the convergence of biology, data science and AI. Responsibilities include providing scientific support for the development of AI-driven solutions, leading collaborative projects, providing end-to-end scientific oversight across partner projects, guiding data analysis and interpretation, collaborating with computational biologists, and designing scientific materials.

Requirements

PhD in life sciences, biomedical or related field. 5+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment, in areas such as drug discovery, translational biology or clinical research. Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation, visualization and critical evaluation of scientific literature. Demonstrated experience in leading and influencing cross-functional scientific projects. Familiarity with clinical trial and biomarker studies within the biopharmaceutical or diagnostics industry. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong proficiency in standard software tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in the analysis and interpretation of omics data - advantage.
