Title: Principal R&D Technician Location: This position is based in our Campbell, California office. This position is full time (hourly), onsite. Why Imperative Care? Our focus is on the needs of the patient, and they come first in everything we do What You’ll Do The Principal R&D Technician is a highly skilled technical role responsible for completing tasks related to product research and development, such as prototyping new products or processes in collaboration with R&D engineers and cross-functional teams involved in transitioning products from concept to manufacturing. This individual is resourceful, demonstrates a high degree of initiative and independence, and excels at turning abstract concepts into tangible product components through their expertise.<ul><li style="margin-right:49px;">Contribute to the design and development of new concepts by designing and building complex prototypes independently with minimal guidance/instructions. </li><li style="margin-right:49px;">Collaborate with Engineers to understand product requirements, assist in the development of assembly tests and procedures, perform, validate and document test methods, including in-vitro/bench tests. </li><li style="margin-right:49px;">Complete projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision, needs to be highly independent and capable of working with minimal/early-stage procedures and assist in developing procedures.</li><li style="margin-right:49px;">Experience with laboratory/testing equipment, capable of executing test methods with minimal supervision.</li><li style="margin-right:49px;">Experienced in processing and assembling small, intricate components, attention to detail is imperative. </li></ul>What You’ll Bring<ul><li style="margin-right:49px;">Hands-on technical skills (catheter experience required)</li><li style="margin-right:49px;">Highly independent, requires minimal supervision</li><li style="margin-right:49px;">Proactive, creative, self-starter attitude - capable of working with minimal instructions</li><li style="margin-right:49px;">Testing & Build Equipment experience (Instron, vertical laminator, coiler, hotbox)</li></ul>Employee Benefits include a stake in our collective success with stock options, bonus, competitive salaries, a 401k plan, health benefits, generous PTO, and a parental leave program.
