Prepares complex financial reporting and analysis to support management and client decision making.</p><p></p><p><i><b>This is a full-time, fully onsite position. </b></i></p><p><i><b>Candidates based in Raleigh, NC will be considered for this position. We will also consider candidates located in Wilmington, NC or Middleton, WI. </b></i></p><p></p><p><b>What you will do:</b></p><ul><li>Administers the daily financial management of complex contracts and/or strategic partnership account and/or special assignments.</li><li>Performs cash flow and variance analysis for assigned projects, accurate project budgets and/or performs regular reconciliations and analysis of revenues and billing on a project and company level; and/or leads the review and delivery of trackers, financial tools, dashboards and provides technical solutions by manipulating large datasets and compiling data.</li><li>Provides consultation, financial guidance and support to operations management and other staff.</li><li>Coordinates with other staff to ensure sponsors are invoiced in a timely and accurate manner, all amounts are collected, any remaining final balances are appropriately cleared; and/or the agreed financial processes are followed and regularly reviewed for further automation and optimization.</li><li>Provides decision-making support to management in assessing and minimizing the risk on revenue and gross profit and/or balances associated with assigned balance sheet accounts and/or financial processes and tools.</li><li>Interacts with leadership through the presentation of database extracts and datasets, tools, models, data analysis, and dashboards.</li><li>Trains, mentors and guides team members. • Identifies and recommends improvements to forecasting process, balance sheet management process, reporting process, and project reporting metrics.</li><li>May manage internal/external client relationship for assigned account(s)/special projects with responsibility for negotiations, issue resolution, and delivery of reporting.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Job Complexity:</b></p><p>Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Job Knowledge Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept. / peer review). Level at which career may plateau.</p><p></p><p><b>Supervision Received:</b></p><p>Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (i.e., Team Lead). Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.</p><p></p><p><b>Business Relationships:</b></p><p>Frequent contacts with internal personnel and outside customer representatives at various management levels concerning operations or scheduling of specific phases of projects or contracts. Creates formal networks with key contacts outside own area</p><p></p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification (Finance, Accounting, etc.)</li><li>Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 8&#43; years).</li><li>In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to train, coach and mentor team members</li><li>Demonstrated project leadership skills with ability to function as an effective and respected partner to clients</li><li>Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial principles, programs, trends and best practices, for roles with more accounting focus a professional accounting qualification – ACCA / CPA / CIMA or equivalent will be an advantage</li><li>Strong negotiation skills</li><li>Strong business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills</li><li>Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data, for roles with more technical focus previous experience with SharePoint / VBA / SQL / Power BI / RPA (comparable to 2&#43; years) will be an advantage</li><li>Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity</li><li>Demonstrated executive presence and strong presentation skills • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Management Role:</b></p><p>No management responsibility</p><p></p><p><b>Working Conditions and Environment: </b></p><ul><li>Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.</li><li>Occasional drives to site locations with occasional travel both domestic and international.</li><li>Long, varied hours may be required.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Physical Requirements: </b></p><ul><li>Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day.</li><li>Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.</li><li>Frequent mobility required.</li><li>Occasional crouching, stooping, bending and twisting of upper body and neck.</li><li>Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.</li><li>Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.</li><li>Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.</li><li>Frequently interacts with others to obtain or relate information to diverse groups.</li><li>Works independently with little guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions and plans work schedules to meet goals. Requires multiple periods of intense concentration.</li><li>Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence.
