What Contract Manufacturing Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health
At Cardinal Health, Contract Manufacturing Engineering serves as the technical bridge between product development, quality, regulatory, supply chain, and our global contract manufacturing network. This team plays a vital role in ensuring product quality, supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and manufacturing excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
As a Contract Manufacturing Principal Engineer, you will be the primary technical leader responsible for managing strategic contract manufacturing partners supporting ECG Cables, Lead Wires, ECG Electrodes, Wound Drain products, and other medical device portfolios. You will drive supplier performance, manufacturing readiness, process improvements, risk mitigation, and business continuity initiatives while ensuring compliance with Cardinal Health and regulatory requirements.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work across global cross-functional teams, influence supplier strategy, lead complex manufacturing projects, and develop into a recognized technical leader within a growing international medical device organization.
