We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead polyphonic end-to-end innovation, strategic partnership and industry-academia collaboration for our surgical RAD portfolio. This role will owns the establish, and scaling of industry-academia collaboration systems and management, drives full-lifecycle digital innovation projects from ideation to clinical translation and commercial launch, and works cross-functionally with R&D, Medical Affairs (MA), Product Management, Commercial, and top-tier external partners (hospitals, universities, research institutes, key opinion leaders (KOLs)) to accelerate digital product maturity, evidence generation, and market promotion.
· Design and implement a standardized digital innovation and industry–academia collaboration framework for the polyphonic portfolio.
· Establish a structured collaboration funnel and mechanism, covering opportunity identification, technical/ clinical/ commercial evaluation, priority ranking, resource allocation, etc.
· Identify, build, and maintain strategic relationships and ecosystem with third party company, academic institutes, and clinical experts (KOLs).
· Lead the full lifecycle of innovation collaboration projects, from initial engagement through execution and product translation.
· Develop collaboration strategies and different engagement models, including co-development partnerships, technology licensing, etc.
· Ensure that all collaborations are conducted in accordance with applicable legal, ethical, regulatory, data privacy, and compliance requirements.
· Work closely with Product Management to convert clinical insights, market trends, customer needs, and external technologies into a prioritized surgical digital product roadmap.
· Work with MA to design and implement clinical evidence generation strategies for translated digital products, and translate outputs into clinically meaningful claims, clinical value packages, and promotion tools.
· Develop and execute commercialization strategies and go-to-market (GTM) plans for digital solutions derived from innovation collaboration.
· Collaborate with Commercial team to drive market access, hospital adoption, solution deployment, and customer success; monitor commercial performance and iterate plans.
· Master's degree required. Fields of study: Clinical Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related disciplines.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical research, industry-academia innovation collaboration, within the medical device or health technology industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial or project leadership role.
· Demonstrated experience in building industry-academia innovation systems, managing innovation pipelines, and leading innovation projects.
· Strong cross-functional leadership, project management, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to lead without direct authority.
· English working proficiency; experience with global partnerships is a plus.
· Understanding of medical device regulations, clinical research requirements, data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and healthcare compliance.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
· Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, international, and highly cross-functional organization.
· Strong strategic thinking and project planning abilities, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
· Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership, innovative mindset, and the ability to rapidly learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
