Planning & Forecasting Trainee - Contractual

You will be instrumental in supporting the process of generating robust forecasts, extracting insightful management information, and proactively identifying potential opportunities and risks.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning and forecasting cycles, including data preparation, validation, and variance analysis.</li><li>Consolidate inputs from multiple markets and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.</li><li>Utilize AI-enabled tools (Excel AI, Copilot, automation bots) to accelerate analysis, improve data quality, and streamline workflows.</li><li>Maintain and enhance forecast models, dashboards, and reporting templates used by the Planning &amp; Forecasting team.</li><li>Assist with scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, data process enhancements, and digital capability building.</li><li>Develop a strong understanding of business performance indicators, financial metrics, and forecasting frameworks.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education,</b> <b>Experience and Skills </b></p><ul><li>University degree in Finance, Accountancy or Business (or professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, etc.), with up to 1–2 years of experience of relevant experience.</li><li>Strong analytical mindset with basic understanding of P&amp;L and forecasting concepts.</li><li>Hands-on Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, Financial modelling skills).</li><li>Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new systems and AI tools for analysis, summarization, and automation.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify data.</li><li>Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Why GSK?<br />Uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.</b></p><p></p><p>GSK is a global biopharma company with a purpose to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
