Physical Distribution Specialist (CS)

Job Description

Responsible for preparing and maintaining short-term transportation plans for finished products, ensuring alignment with operational objectives and service requirements. The role focuses on monitoring transportation systems, ensuring data quality, and driving continuous improvement across inbound and outbound logistics activities.


Your role:

  • Communicate shipment status, delays, and transportation-related issues to internal teams and external partners, escalating risks and exceptions as needed.

  • Ensure quality assurance of master and transactional data by strictly following established standards to maintain accuracy, consistency, and system reliability.

  • Monitor and maintain transportation system parameters, performing root cause analysis on daily exceptions and identifying optimization opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce disruptions.

  • Calculate transportation capacity and develop short-term transport plans using logistics systems, providing data-driven insights and adjustment recommendations.

  • Support decisions related to transport capacity and sourcing, including analysis for the purchase or adjustment of transport solutions within defined complexity and budget levels.

  • Coordinate the introduction of new destinations into transportation plans, ensuring seamless integration with distribution center operations and stakeholder alignment.

  • Facilitate daily inbound and outbound logistics activities, including priority setting, exception handling (e.g., ASN checks, delivery discrepancies), system interface monitoring (SAP/TMS/LSP/WMS), and service provider performance reporting.


You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in international business, logistics or Industrial engineering.

  • You have acquired a minimum of 2 years of experience in international commerce operations, managing customs agents and third-party suppliers. 

  • Your skills include Lean basic or yellow belt certification, detail and objective oriented; eager to deliver change, transformation and innovation, resilience and eagerness to manage adversity to ensure business continuity. 

  • Advanced English level.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role.
