PhD Student, Material Sciences (F/M)

We are looking for a PhD Student, Material Sciences (F/M) at our Cergy site.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>A close collaboration with the University of Montpellier for this project will need for the student to be a big part of the time in Montpellier and the rest in our site in Cergy.</p><p><br />Grow with us : your responsabilities</p><ul><li>Understanding of the structural characteristics critical to the performance of resin based chromatography media. Application to the purification of proteins and peptides.</li><li>Development of innovative methods for material characterizations in close collaboration with internal stakeholders as well as with external partners (e.g. employees, suppliers and institutes).</li><li>Collaboration in projects for the improvement or development of materials and processes in close collaboration with internal stakeholders as well as with external partners (e.g. customers, employees, suppliers and institutes).</li><li>Monitoring of the state of the art in relevant technical fields (patents and publications).</li><li>Scientific and technical presentation of results at conferences/symposia and through publications.</li></ul><p></p><p>What will convince us - your profile</p><ul><li>Starting a PHD in Material sciences</li><li>Real interest to work in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Good communication and teamworking skills</li><li>Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office</li><li>Fluent in English</li></ul><p></p><p><b>About Sartorius </b></p><p></p><p>Sartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
