Apply strong foundations in structural dynamics, vibrations, nonlinear mechanics, and impact/contact behaviour to develop robust mechanical‑dynamics solutions for GE HealthCare product architectures.
Participate within a collaborative team framework on multi‑generation technology programs, enabling future mechanical design advancements, while independently executing specialized technical tasks.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Advanced modeling and simulation, including:
• Nonlinear finite element analysis (static & dynamic)
• Drop/impact simulations (explicit dynamics)
• Modal, harmonic, transient dynamics, and stability/bifurcation analyses
• Multi‑physics coupling (e.g., structural–magnetic, structural–fluid)
High‑fidelity computational modeling using commercial tools (Abaqus, Ansys LS‑DYNA, COMSOL) and in‑house code development in MATLAB/Python/C++, where applicable.
Develop and implement experimental hardware and fixtures for validation of dynamic behavior, impact resilience, and nonlinear deformation mechanics.
Deliver on technical projects with defined timelines and cost objectives; implement plans with minimal guidance to meet engineering requirements and assure high‑quality documentation.
