Our Warehouse Operations team is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, and shipping the materials and finished products that support our site. We work with a “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset, striving for continuous improvement to ensure accurate inventories and on-time, compliant distribution. The Millsboro site supplies and supports products for a wide range of species including poultry, equine, swine, bovine, and companion animal.
Responsibilities:
Manage and motivate Warehouse team to ensure smooth and efficient processes. This would include coordination of additional labor, such as temporary employees or other departments
Administer all Human Resource (HR) programs, i.e. reviews, discipline, etc.
Participate and support the Safe by Choice programs at the site. Lead safety by example
Monitor and enforce quality and safety standards
Review, revise, and maintain processes, procedures, and personnel training to ensure ongoing compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
Participation in daily activities to understand requirements and issues
Provide effective solutions to projects with a high level of technical difficulties and internal constraints
Implement and maintain procedures designed to control accurate physical inventories and the proper storage and handling of materials
Manage the flow of materials to label, pack, receive, store, deliver, and ship all materials using the SAP ATLAS operating system
Evaluate personnel and machinery requirements and make and/or implement recommendations for changes and improvements.
Lead and institute data-based process improvements
Work closely with production, planning, purchasing and other facilities to assure an uninterrupted supply of materials required for production activities.
Manage the raw materials, labels, in-process materials, quarantine and finished goods in the warehouse cooler/freezer by interacting with production departments; managing the effectiveness of materials being stored and transferred in and out of the warehouse cooler.
Maintain updated and accurate information in SAP and other computerized systems by performing cycle count and other methods. Perform and provide oversight for the proper information entry into SAP for warehouse and production activities.
Other duties as assigned, such as scheduling equipment maintenance, various trouble shooting and contribute as needed on cross-functional teams
Lead Tier 1 communication meetings and provide input into Tier 2 and Tier 4 level meetings
Required Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent with six (6) years' experience leading warehouse operations in a regulated, quality-driven environment (e.g., GMP-compliant warehousing) with demonstrated leadership skills OR
Military service and five (5) years’ experience leading warehouse operations in a regulated, quality-driven environment (e.g., GMP-compliant warehousing) with demonstrated leadership skills OR'
Associate's degree with four (4) years' experience leading warehouse operations in a regulated, quality-driven environment (e.g., GMP-compliant warehousing) with demonstrated leadership skills OR
Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years' experience leading warehouse operations in a regulated, quality-driven environment (e.g., GMP-compliant warehousing) with demonstrated leadership skills
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strategic and effective communication skills
High analytical and logical problem-solving abilities (e.g., root cause analysis and Lean tools).
Strategic and optimistic teambuilding skills that focus on mentoring and coaching
Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of USDA and GMP Guidelines
Technical writing experience
The selected candidate could be required to work occasional weekends and holidays based on the needs of the business.

The salary range for this role is
$96,200.00 - $151,400.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
