If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Summary</h2><p><b>General Purpose:</b></p><p>Responsible for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a PCBA manufacturing organization.</p><p>Principle Accountabilities:</p><p>· Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability (dfx study)</p><p>· Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production</p><p>· Oversee new process equipment production</p><p>· Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters</p><p>· Trouble shoot process related issues</p><p>· Participate to activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements</p><p>· Evaluate and select various engineered materials</p><p>· Implement statistical process reviews on new and existing products</p><p>· Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.</p><p>· Improve manufacturing techniques and through put.</p><p>· Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities</p><p>· Develop and maintain process documentation</p><p>· Review processing methods</p><p>· Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer</p><p>· Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer</p><p>· Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required.</p><p>· Manage cost improvement/reduction programs</p><p></p><p><b><u>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</u></b></p><ul><li>Typically requires a Bachelor degree in related field - or - equivalent experience and training.</li><li>Typically requires 4 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area</li><li>Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills. Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.
