The Opportunity
As a Payroll Process Owner, you will be a key driver in streamlining and optimizing the delivery of payroll, time, and benefits (PTB) services across the EMEA region. Reporting to the Global PTB Lead, you will act as a strategic bridge between regional operational teams and global product management to ensure our solutions are both efficient and scalable.
Act as a strategic partner and regional representative for PTB operational teams, ensuring alignment with Global Best Practices.
Define end-to-end processes in collaboration with local PTB leads and cross-functional partners in Finance, Treasury, and IT.
Prioritize regional requirements by collecting business needs and balancing them against global priorities and roadmap planning.
Drive harmonization and simplification of processes and practices across the region to foster a "OneRoche" approach.
Collaborate with Product Owners (specifically Workday Time & Absence) to support technical discussions and system round tables.
Manage vendor relationships alongside global leadership, interfacing with key partners such as Workday, ADP, and Deloitte.
Support service governance by overseeing regional KPIs, Service Catalogs, and compliance audits (e.g., ICFR and SOD controls).
Who You Are
You are a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in payroll and time management. You thrive in matrix environments and possess the influence needed to manage diverse stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on end-to-end accountability and process excellence.
Experienced Professional: You bring 3+ years of experience in Payroll, Time/Absence, and Benefits administration, preferably in a complex shared services environment.
Technical Savvy: You have a solid working knowledge of Workday and experience managing relationships with external payroll vendors.
Stakeholder Expert: You possess the ability to engage and influence diverse partners beyond the HR function, including Finance and IT.
Process Oriented: You have an ideal background in managing business processes and a proven track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Project Leader: You bring strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize competing requirements in a rapidly changing environment.
Accountable & Analytical: You demonstrate end-to-end accountability, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Fluent Communicator: You possess excellent English skills (written and spoken) and embrace working within a multicultural, global organization.
