The Group’s main products are contrast agents sold in over 100 countries, both directly and indirectly through branches, joint ventures and license and distribution agreements.</p><p style="text-align:inherit !important"></p><p style="text-align:inherit !important"></p>The Packaging Technology Senior Specialist acts as a senior reference for Packaging Technology activities across manufacturing sites and CMOs. The role ensures the effective management of packaging projects, materials specifications, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs, while maintaining high quality standards, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.<p></p><h1><b>Key Activities &amp; Responsibilities</b></h1><ul><li><p>Drive and coordinate packaging projects across Bracco’s manufacturing sites and CMOs.</p></li><li><p>Define and manage packaging material specifications.</p></li><li><p>Support R&amp;D in packaging innovation and sustainability initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Partner with Quality on packaging troubleshooting activities.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Procurement on new packaging materials, components, and supplier qualification.</p></li><li><p>Support internal stakeholders (Production, Engineering, Continuous Improvement) in developing business cases and investment plans related to packaging projects.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to packaging standardization and cost reduction roadmaps.</p></li><li><p>Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of packaging initiatives and ensure implementation according to plan.</p></li><li><p>Provide technical guidance and foster collaboration through effective communication, coaching, and team development.</p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b>Education &amp; Experience</b></h1><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical/scientific field or equivalent background.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with a focus on Packaging Technology.</p></li><li><p>Experience working in international environments and leading cross-functional teams.</p></li><li><p>Strong technical expertise in primary packaging components (e.g., vials, rubber stoppers, aluminum crimps, plastic and glass pre-filled syringes) and/or secondary packaging (e.g., labels, cartons, corrugated cases).</p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b>Skills</b></h1><ul><li><p>In-depth knowledge of packaging technologies (filling, capping, aseptic and ultra-clean filling, thermal treatment, labeling, secondary packaging, palletizing, logistics).</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of packaging materials (glass, metals, polymers, elastomers, corrugated materials) and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).</p></li><li><p>Project management and continuous improvement mindset.</p></li><li><p>Cost analysis and optimization capabilities.</p></li><li><p>Proactive problem-solving approach.</p></li><li><p>Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.</p></li><li><p>Fluency in English.
