Organisational Culture Assurance Manager

Audit & Assurance (A&A) provides independent, objective assurance to the Board and Audit & Risk Committee (ARC) regarding the effectiveness of GSK's governance, risk management and internal control environment. Through assurance, advice and insight, A&A helps enhance GSK's strategic priorities and protect organisational value and delivery for patients. A&A is responsible for providing assurance over adherence to GSK's Culture and Code and for evaluating how organisational behaviours influence effective risk management, governance and sustainable performance.

 

Organisational Culture Assurance is a specialist assurance capability within A&A. It provides data analytics, behavioural dashboards and deep dive independent assurance reviews over the organisational conditions, behavioural drivers and cultural factors that influence how risks are managed, decisions are made and performance is delivered across GSK.

 

Job Purpose

 

The Organisational Culture Assurance Manager delivers organisational Culture risk assessments that provide insight into the organisational conditions shaping performance, decision-making and risk management across GSK.

 

The role combines assurance, behavioural assessment, stakeholder engagement and advanced data analysis to identify cultural strengths, behavioural risks and opportunities for improvement. Through the use of quantitative and qualitative evidence, the role assesses how factors such as leadership signals, accountability, psychological safety, challenge, escalation, performance drivers and organisational dynamics influence the achievement of GSKs strategic objectives.

 

The Organisational Culture Assurance Manager supports the development and interpretation of behavioural dashboards, analytics products and methodologies that enable broader integration of behavioural assurance into the A&A audit portfolio in addition to leading the delivery of a limited number of targeted Organisational Culture Assurance reviews

 

The role serves as a trusted and objective partner, helping leaders better understand the organisational conditions that support effective risk management, resilience and sustainable performance.

 

We require for this role to be based at GSK HQ, London.

In this role you will…

• Analyse organisational, operational and people-related datasets to identify behavioural patterns and trends.
• Create data visualisations and analytical outputs to support management discussions.
• Provide specialist advice and support on organisational culture risks during audit planning and delivery.
• Collaborate with audit teams to strengthen consideration of organisational culture across the assurance portfolio.
• Lead the planning and execution of Organisational CultureAssurance reviews.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify culture and behavioural factors relevant to review objectives.
• Assess organisational conditions including leadership effectiveness, accountability, challenge, psychological safety, collaboration and risk awareness.
• Build credibility and trust with employees and leaders across the organisation.
• Facilitate constructive discussions regarding organisational culture risks and organisational effectiveness.
• Support leadership teams in understanding findings and prioritising actions.
• Support the application of new analytical techniques, data sources and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Contribute to thematic reporting and enterprise-wide culture assessments.

 

 

Why You?

Essential Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, Human Resources, Organisational Development, Organisational Effectiveness or a related field.
• Ability to identify meaningful patterns across quantitative and qualitative information sources.
• Proficiency in developing data visualisations and presenting analytical insights.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

 

Preferred Requirements:

 

• Experience in people analytics, behavioural science, organisational culture assessment or organisational effectiveness.
• Knowledge of risk-based assurance methodologies and internal audit principles.
• Experience with data visualisation and analytics tools such as Power BI or equivalent platforms.
• Professional qualification in audit, risk, HR, organisational development or related disciplines.
• Experience supporting global and matrixed organisations.
