Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.</p><p></p><p>The Manager, Warehouse Operations oversees the building’s inbound processing,<br />including receiving, put away, and returns to achieve operational efficiency and safety. Through<br />successful operational and people management, this job delivers on the business unit’s short-term goals, improves profitability and develops the business unit’s warehouse talent. This job also responds to urgent customer needs or supply disruptions to ensure customer commitments are fulfilled.</p><p><i><b>Responsibilities</b></i></p><ul><li><p>Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.</p></li><li><p>Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.</p></li><li><p>Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.</p></li><li><p>Ability to make data driven decisions to improve processes and manage shift labor.</p></li><li><p>Create unique development plans for multiple levels in the reporting structure in order to help team members meet their personal career goals.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i><b>Qualifications</b></i></p><ul><li><p>8-12 years of operations management experience, preferred</p></li><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred</p></li><li><p>3&#43; years of supervisory/management experience preferred</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products</p></li><li><p>Flexible work hours</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i><b>What is expected of you and others at this level</b></i></p><ul><li><p>Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, front line supervisors and/or business support staff</p></li><li><p>Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals</p></li><li><p>Ensures employees operate within guidelines</p></li><li><p>Decisions have a short-term impact on work processes, outcomes and customers</p></li><li><p>Interacts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management</p></li><li><p>Interactions normally involve resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects</p></li><li><p>Gains consensus from various parties involved</p></li></ul><p></p><p>The salary range listed is an estimate.
