This role will partner with Operations Leaders in sourcing, supply chain, EHS & quality to drive productivity and operational savings towards the P&L. The position holder will provide valuable decision support by leveraging data & analytics to identify and implement operational improvement opportunities.<br /><br /><b>What you will do:</b></p><p></p><p>• Lead AOP / QBR / STRAP/ MBR, in a matrixed financial forecast for Operations Finance</p><p></p><p>•<span> Help to communicate forecast outlook with cross-division financial partners to drive alignment. </span><br /><br />• Lead data analysis for the business, using complex data and problem solving to drive productivity projects and P&L savings for the business.</p><p><br />• Develop high quality effective presentations (i.e. engaging, motivating, concise, well-prep)</p><p><br />• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of reporting and analytical processes</p><p></p><p>•<span> Perform special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis</span></p><p><br /><b>Requirements</b><br /><br />• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, plus 6+ years of experience in finance, with demonstrated expertise in operations finance, reporting and business partnering<br /><br /><b>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities</b><br /><br />• Proven understanding of Excel (i.e., financial models and analysis), SAP (or equivalent), PowerPoint, and Power BI is preferred<br /><br />• Proficient verbal and written communication skills<br /><br />• Proven business partner and influencer</p><p></p><p>• Continuous Improvement approach: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical Process Improvement (PPI)</p><p></p><p>• Exhibit leadership, initiative, and the Thermo Fisher Scientific 4-I values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.</p><p><br />Travel requirements<br /><br />• <span>Less than 10% domestic/international travel required</span></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
