Operations Finance Manager

<p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Work Schedule</b></u></p>Standard (Mon-Fri)<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Environmental Conditions</b></u></p>Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b><u>Job Description</u></b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>Location/Division Specific Information</b></p><p>This role will be located in Fairlawn, NJ.</p><p></p><p><b>How will you make an impact</b></p><p>As the Finance Manager you will be the primary finance business partner for the site operations director and management team.  You will be leading and inspiring a team of strong, enthusiastic finance professionals to support the business in financial planning and reporting as well as decision making on investments and future proofing the organization financially.</p><p></p><p><b>What will you do</b></p><ul><li>Primary business partner for the site operations director as well as key member of the site leadership team.</li><li>Lead financial analyst to drive analysis of operating results (I.E. absorption, Work order variance, versus AOP, forecast and prior year).  Ensure inventory controls are checked and monitored to reduce risk of write offs. </li><li>Monthly cost center reviews and deep dive into site expenses.  Actuals vs. AOP, Forecast, and Prior Year.  Develop a deep understanding of site expenses to identify savings opportunities and improvement of forecast accuracy. </li><li>Management of Capital Expenditure including forecast accuracy and spend governance, preparation of investment proposals and approval management.</li><li>Lead development of monthly financial forecasts and annual budget (AOP), identifying areas of risk and opportunity.</li><li>Ensure compliance to Divisional Approval Authority Matrix/Corporate accounting policies.</li><li>Drive strong focus on standard cost analysis to support improving and optimizing profitability for the business.</li><li>Challenge business standards and manufacturing standards to identify risks and opportunities within manufacturing/supply chain.  </li><li>Lead analysis of productivity results and drive improvements in line with productivity targets.</li><li>Validate site productivity savings ensuring savings bridge to the P&amp;L.</li><li>Complete special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as required.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>How will you get here</b></p><ul><li>Strong leadership and business partner skills. Lead by example, support and challenge business partners and hold teams accountable to commitments and results</li><li>Strong business sense and ability to think beyond financial implications only</li><li>Proven ability to organize, analyze, present and report results</li><li>Effective spoken and written communication skills are required to collaborate with various partners</li><li>Experience in a global manufacturing organization, as well as development of product cost methodologies</li><li>Continuous Improvement approach: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives</li><li>Superior quantitative and analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills</li><li>Organized multitasker: workload prioritization, enable the team to meet timelines while achieving results, especially in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education / Experience</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or CPA preferred. </li><li>Manufacturing/Distribution experience</li><li>Understanding of Cost Accounting is strongly preferred</li><li>A minimum of 5 years progressive experience as a financial and people leader</li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Compensation and Benefits</b></u></p>The salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $112,500.00–$168,750.00.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
