By applying PPI and lean methodologies, you will help achieve measurable improvements in quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.</p><p></p><p><b>A Day in the Life</b></p><ul><li><p>Implement and advance the Thermo Fisher Scientific Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System to drive operational excellence</p></li><li><p>Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and structured problem-solving initiatives</p></li><li><p>Partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute improvement opportunities</p></li><li><p>Coach and mentor teams in lean methodologies, standard work, 5S, and continuous improvement tools</p></li><li><p>Manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business objectives</p></li><li><p>Apply data analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques to deliver sustainable results</p></li><li><p>Track, validate, and report project savings in partnership with Finance</p></li><li><p>Support change management and stakeholder engagement to ensure adoption of new processes</p></li><li><p>Develop and deliver lean and PPI training to build organizational capability</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Keys to Success</b></p><p><b>Education</b></p><ul><li><p>Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience OR</p></li><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of experience</p></li><li><p>Preferred fields of study: Engineering, Science, Business, Operations, or related discipline</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Experience</b></p><ul><li><p>Proven experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing, laboratory, or regulated environment</p></li><li><p>Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated success achieving measurable results through process improvement</p></li><li><p>Experience developing and delivering lean or continuous improvement training</p></li><li><p>Strong financial acumen with experience validating project savings with Finance</p></li><li><p>Experience in a cGMP or regulated environment preferred</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</b></p><p><b>Knowledge</b></p><ul><li><p>Deep understanding of lean methodologies, PPI, and continuous improvement frameworks</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills</b></p><ul><li><p>Expertise in value stream mapping, Kaizen facilitation, standard work, and 5S</p></li><li><p>Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills</p></li><li><p>Advanced data analysis and root cause problem-solving capabilities</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI, Minitab, or similar tools preferred</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Abilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a matrix organization</p></li><li><p>Strong change management and stakeholder engagement capability</p></li><li><p>Ability to influence, coach, and inspire teams toward continuous improvement</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Physical Requirements / Work Environment</b></p><ul><li><p>Ability to work in an office, manufacturing, laboratory, or regulated environment as required</p></li><li><p>Occasional travel may be required to support business needs</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Our benefits include:</b></p><ul><li><p>Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits effective Day 1</p></li><li><p>Paid Time Off and designated paid holidays</p></li><li><p>Retirement Savings Plan</p></li><li><p>Tuition Reimbursement</p></li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Compensation</b></u></p>The salary range estimated for this position based in Ontario is $69,400.00–$104,050.00.<p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
