As Medical CRM &amp; Neuroscience Lead, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Novartis’ scientific impact across neuroscience and other priority disease areas. You will translate medical strategy into meaningful field engagement, act as a trusted scientific partner to the healthcare ecosystem, and lead a strong Medical Science Liaison organization with purpose, integrity, and excellence. Through insight-driven decision making and compliant execution, you will help strengthen Novartis’ scientific reputation while improving outcomes for patients who need us most.<p style="text-align:inherit"><br /> </p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Job Description</b></p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Lead and execute the field medical strategy across neuroscience and priority disease areas, aligned with global direction</li><li>Serve as the country scientific leader, driving high-quality, compliant scientific engagement with healthcare professionals</li><li>Coach, develop, and guide the Medical Science Liaison team to deliver consistent, high-impact field excellence</li><li>Translate external insights into strategic recommendations that shape medical plans and decision making</li><li>Build and sustain trusted partnerships with medical experts, scientific societies, and academic institutions</li><li>Ensure excellence in medical education, scientific communication, and capability building initiatives</li><li>Champion compliance, governance, and ethical standards across all field medical activities</li></ul><p></p><h2>Essential Requirements</h2><ul><li>Advanced scientific degree such as Doctor of Medicine (is a must)</li><li>Minimum seven years of experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development within pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations</li><li>Proven ability to design and execute medical strategies across the full product lifecycle</li><li>Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing Medical Science Liaison or field medical teams</li><li>Strong expertise in interpreting, communicating, and applying complex clinical and scientific data</li><li>Fluent in English and Spanish</li><li>Solid understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in medical engagement</li></ul><p></p><h2>Desirable Requirements</h2><ul><li>Experience within neuroscience, rare diseases, or cardio-renal therapeutic areas</li><li>Exposure to regional or global medical roles with the ability to translate strategy into local execution</li></ul><p> <b> </b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"><br /> </p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Skills Desired</b></p>Agility, Agility, Clinical Practices, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Data Analysis, Drug Development, Employee Development, Healthcare Sector Understanding, Health Sciences, Influencing Skills, Innovation, Inspirational Leadership, Integrated Evidence Generation, Medical Affairs, Medical Communication, Medical Education, Patient Care, People Management, Pharmaceutics, Priority Disease Areas Expertise, Product Launches, Product Strategy, Real World Evidence (RWE), Regulatory Compliance, Research Methodologies {+ 3 more}
