Start-Up, operate, and troubleshoot thermoplastic and LSR injection molding production equipment and processes to complete work orders. Position requires higher levels of plastic and silicone transformation technical skill sets and abilities to perform specialized manufacturing processes, including fairly advanced practices, procedures, concepts, or principles. Consistently apply Lean tools and techniques to identify and solve operational problems and measurably improve processes.
Your role:
Operate and maintain thermoplastic and LSR injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and processes, ensuring molds are clean and production meets quality standards.
Troubleshoot molding equipment and processes to resolve issues, determine root causes of defects, and complete work orders efficiently.
Support product and process improvements, assist Manufacturing Engineers/Managers, and ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety practices.
Train and mentor other Molding Process Technicians to enhance team capabilities.
You're the right fit if:
High school education (minimum 9th grade); Plastic Process Technician certification preferred.
0–2 years of experience as a Molding Technician, preferably in medical companies.
Knowledge of safety practices, with the ability to self-train based on education and/or experience.
Basic English skills and proficient computer skills (Word, Excel) preferred.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an onsite role. Shift B Monday to Friday from 3:36 pm to 10: 00 pm. Saturday: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
