If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a <b>Molding Operator </b>located in <b>Buffalo Grove, IL.</b></p><p>Reporting to the manager the potential candidate would be responsible for performing a variety of component verifications and facilitates in-line packaging on molded products.</p><p></p><p><b>0600p-0600a Rotating Shift</b></p><p><b>What a typical day looks like:</b></p><ul><li>Sets up station with the correct process inspection documents, screens, and/or workflow instructions.</li><li>Performs visual in line verifications and/or inspections, identifying defects to workmanship standards.</li><li>Runs product.</li><li>Reads and interprets the manufacturing instructions.</li><li>Utilizes visual aids, including but not limited to microscopes and magnifying lenses.</li><li> Sets up and operates scales to weigh and measure quantities and products.</li><li> Identifies, labels, and verifies production.</li><li>Scans product and enters into the shop floor control system or manual tracking systems when applicable; able to maintain accurate job tracking records.</li><li>Documents workload, calculating the number of products inspected and rejected (production scrap).</li><li>Communicates any process problems with peers, supervisors/leads, and/or manufacturing support.</li><li> Maintains a neat appearance around self and work area; performs daily cleaning of work areas.</li><li>Completes task schedule on time; accountable for quality, quantity and inspection of work performed</li><li>Practice safe work habits and report unsafe conditions to supervisor</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</b></p><ul><li>Typically requires a High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>Able to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions.</li><li>Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, leads and supervisors of the organization.</li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.</li><li>Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</li><li>Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10&#39;s and 100&#39;s.</li><li>Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement and distance. Read and interpret assembly prints.</li><li>Able to work with speed and accuracy.
