To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a MES Engineer located in Oostrum, North Limburg, Netherlands.
Reporting to the Senior IT Manager, the MES Engineer will be responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and support of MES solutions within complex logistics and light-assembly environments. You’ll work closely with Operations, Engineering, PSE, IT colleagues and customers to continuously improve processes and system stability.
What a typical day looks like:
Translate operational and customer requirements into clear MES process and application
designs
Build and configure modular MES processes for logistics and light assembly flows
Implement changes in MES and integration platforms (including FlexFlow, Brix, FCS and LinkX)
Execute technical testing for changes and new releases
Monitor systems, analyze incidents, and resolve problems structurally
Perform process optimizations together with Engineering and Operations
Ensure proper functional and technical documentation
Act as a trusted technical partner for internal stakeholders and customers
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or similar
Solid understanding of logistics and/or light assembly processes
Experience in a technical design & delivery environment
Strong SQL skills or the motivation to grow quickly
Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
Proactive, service-oriented, and communicative
