Learn more at <a href="https://www.jnj.com/medtech" target="_blank">https://www.jnj.com/medtech</a></p><p></p><p><b>We are searching for the best talent for General Manager, North Asia – Electrophysiology based in Seoul.</b></p><p></p><p><b>Position summary</b></p><p>We are seeking a Commercial General Manager(Director) for our Electrophysiology business in the North Asia Cluster (South of Korea and Taiwan) under Asia Pacific region. In this role, you will provide decisive leadership in all areas of commercial related to sales, marketing, market access, professional education, clinical support, KOL engagement, competitive dynamics and team &amp; people management. You will develop different business models, aligned with APAC and global strategies, that hold regional and local relevance to ensure success with a focus on critical business priorities, talent, and culture plans to grow the business.</p><p><b>Reports to:</b> President, APAC - Electrophysiology</p><p></p><p><b>You will be responsible for:</b></p><ul><li>Lead the commercial performance and strategic execution of the EP business across all markets within the North Asia Clusters. Own full P&amp;L of North Asia EP.</li><li>Hold accountability for business results at North Asia EP business unit level and drive the relevant financial planning and executions. </li><li>Provide strategic leadership and direction, overseeing commercial activities across all EP platforms. Manage North Asia EP operating plan for the business unit, including budget ownership, resource deployment, and performance tracking.</li><li>Direct the critical processes across North Asia related to business planning, marketing planning, portfolio management, IBP, life cycle management, business performance tracking including P&amp;L monitoring of the business units and geographies. </li><li>Develop and direct/influence activities for North Asia EP Business Unit teams in accomplishing goals, objectives and strategies within business policies.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including local sales and marketing, product development, clinical education, to ensure successful execution of marketing and sales initiatives.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and inspire a team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Lead the talent agenda for the business in region, including a robust leadership pipeline and future-ready capabilities</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), medical associations and industry influencers to elevate the visibility and credibility in EP communities.</li><li>Accountable for ensuring the highest quality execution and oversight to maintain full compliance with external regulations and Johnson &amp; Johnson policies (e.g., Business Conduct Policy, HCC, SOX, FDA, and local requirements)</li><li>Ensure Health Care Compliance and integrity principles are championed and actively practiced at every level of the organization.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications / Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. MS/MBA is preferred. </li></ul><ul><li>A minimum of 12 years of business and commercial experience (sales and marketing) is required. A minimum of 5 years of Business Unit management experience is preferred.  </li><li>A minimum of 5 years of prior leadership experience with people management responsibility is preferred.</li><li>Extensive experience and knowledge of healthcare or medical device industry, EP background is highly preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales &amp; marketing strategies that drive significant business growth in the APAC region, North Asia experience is preferred.</li><li>Proven track record of strategic product management and successful leadership in dynamic environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of regional regulatory requirements, HEMA and quality standards in the medical device field.</li><li>High strategic mindset, with ability to simplify and translate data into insights and decisions</li><li>Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences.</li><li>Experience in marketing programs to create new markets or market segments is required. </li><li>Knowledge and experience within North Asia, including insights and Voice of the Customer (VOC) is required.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Legal Entity</b></p><p>MedTech</p><p></p><p><b>Job Type</b></p><p>Regular</p><p></p><p><b>Application Documents</b></p><p>Free-form resume AND cover letter is required (in Korean or English).</p><p></p><p><b>Application Deadline</b></p><p>Until the position is filled</p><p></p><p><b>Notes</b></p><ul><li>Preference will be given to individuals subject to national veterans’ benefits and persons with disabilities upon submission of relevant documents as per applicable laws.</li><li>Only candidates who pass the resume screening will be notified individually.
