Job Description:

Position Summary
To maximize the medical and scientific value in Heart Recovery, this role leads scientific exchange with Key Opinion
Leaders (KOLs) and drives the generation of medical insights across Japan and Korea.
In addition, this position serves as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders, contributing to evidence-based
decision-making and strategic planning.
Proposal for Key Responsibilities:
1. Insights, Strategy & Cross-functional Impact
 Collaborate and execute with Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional teams under alignments with
Japan/Korea leadership team
 Monitor and share emerging scientific and medical trends in cardiovascular space
 Share field, scientific and medical insights to Japan/Korea leadership team and contribute to strategic decision-
making
 Facilitate knowledge sharing across APAC
 Identify unmet clinical needs and generate actionable insights
2. Medical Education & Internal Capability Building
 Respond to medical and scientific inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
 Support and execute healthcare professional education programs under the direction of Physician Program and ProfEd team
 Support and provide medical/scientific training to internal stakeholders
3. External Scientific Engagement
 Build and maintain strong relationships with academic and community KOLs in Japan and Korea
 Lead advanced level scientific discussions
 Support congresses, symposiums, and external scientific engagement
4. Evidence Generation & Research
 Identify evidence gaps and clinical needs

 Support clinical research, publications, and data generation activities
 Collaborate with KOLs to drive research and publication initiatives

■ Qualifications
• Master’s degree or higher in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field (M.D., PhD preferred)
• 5–7+ years of experience in MSL or Medical Affairs
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular disease (especially circulatory support / critical care preferred)
• Proven ability to engage with KOLs and conduct scientific discussions
• Strong communication skills (English plus Japanese or Korean)
• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives
