About the job</span></i></p><p><span><span> </span></span></p><p><span><span>The Scientific Advisor (MSL) is a dynamic career option that combines technical and scientific requirements, planning, and communication with internal and external partners. These are healthcare professionals with solid, in-depth, and up-to-date technical and scientific knowledge of products, diseases, clinical practice, and clinical studies within a given therapeutic area. They are responsible for leading reliable, balanced, and in-depth scientific discussions with Key Opinion Leaders and other healthcare professionals, disseminating recent scientific evidence and developing structured relationships based on technical and scientific foundations</span></span></p><p><span><span> </span></span></p><p><b><span>Main Responsibilities:</span></b></p><p><span><b><span> </span></b></span></p><p><span>·       Plan, organize, and execute field activities related to strictly scientific information on the therapeutic area of responsibility (Rare Blood Diseases with a focus on Hemophilia), with the aim of disseminating medical knowledge and updating healthcare professionals.</span></p><p><span>·       Provide healthcare professionals with information on clinical studies relevant to their area of expertise and interest, as well as discuss treatment guidelines.</span></p><p><span>·       Plan, organize, and execute meetings and/or scientific lectures with healthcare professionals in the therapeutic area;</span></p><p><span>·       Relate the scientific activities presented and information gathered in the field to the company&#39;s strategic objectives.</span></p><p><span>·       Discuss and support healthcare professionals with issues related to the diagnostic and management journey of patients with hemophilia.</span></p><p><span>·       Collaborate in speaker training, when necessary and appropriate.</span></p><p><span>·       Gather information on treatment trends and other insights from healthcare professionals and provide feedback to various areas of Sanofi.</span></p><p><span>·       Participate, when requested, in periodic meetings with brand teams to align scientific field activities</span></p><p><span>·       Maintain knowledge of and comply with the principles of Ethics and Integrity, Sanofi policies, and codes of conduct that regulate the pharmaceutical market</span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span>·       Maintain effective and appropriate communication among internal stakeholders (Medical Affairs colleagues, Medical Information and Commercial Operations) while maintaining full compliance with relevant company, industry, legal and regulatory requirements;</span></p><p><span>·       Use strong knowledge of relevant diseases and disease management protocols, healthcare environment and competitors to articulate the medical and scientific value of our products with external experts.</span></p><p><span>·       Establish robust, long-term peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other Stakeholder partners.</span></p><p><span>·       Work with Sanofi&#96;s Diagnostic coordinator to resolve queries on the paperwork and supply chain issues enable diagnostic pre work before therapy initiation.</span></p><p><span>·       Record/report insights and information appropriately, using available mechanisms and tools.</span></p><p><span>·       Supports evidence-generation activities by aiding in data acquisition and identifying opportunities for further data collection clinical or investigator-led.</span></p><p><b><u><span> </span></u></b></p><p><b><u><span>Context of the Job/ Major Challenges</span></u></b></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span>·       Operate Independently and in collaboration with Rare Blood disorder Medical Manager</span></p><p><span>·       Travel: 10-12 days/month within India</span></p><p><span>·       Effectively mediate KOL&#39;s complex and controversial opinions vs; corporate policy decisions ensuring KOL relationships/medical strategy is not negatively impacted.</span></p><p><span>·       Ensures regulatory boundaries are non-promotional activities are respected vis-à-vis commercial partners.</span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><u><span>Scope of Role/Output</span></u></b></p><p><span>·       Plan day-to-day interactions, including discussion points in accordance with the Medical Affairs strategy, establishing a frequency of interactions per stakeholder per year to ensure that objectives are met.</span></p><p><span>·       Executes on defined KOL territory strategy that is targeted to address diverse stakeholder needs (payers, patients, KOLs, HCP, etc.) and is aligned with company objectives.</span></p><p><span>·       Develops relevant medical strategy and guides cross functional</span></p><p><span>·       Uses approved scientific data during KOL interactions to advance the understanding of the therapeutic area.</span></p><p><span> </span></p><p>3. About you</p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><u><span>Qualifications:</span></u></b></p><p><span>·       Advanced degree in a technical, scientific or medical field (MBBS, MD ) preferred</span></p><p><span>·       Experience/knowledge of Hematology/ Hemophilia strongly preferred.</span></p><p><span>·       Experience: Previous experience as a Scientific Advisor (MSL) in the pharmaceutical industry</span></p><p><span>·       Knowledge of Coagulopathies and Bleeding Disorders (desirable) and prior experience of interacting with opinion leaders in the field of Hematology (desirable).</span></p><p><span>·       Soft Skills: Effective communication, proactivity, prioritization, strategic planning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. Technical Skills: Development and implementation of engagement and communication plans, knowledge of scientific methodology and data analysis.</span></p><p><span>·       Languages: Advanced English</span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><u><span>Skills/Knowledge</span></u></b></p><p><span>·       Strategic thinking and flawless execution</span></p><p><span>·       Actively listens to others and is adept at confidently stating expert opinion while respecting the positions of others</span></p><p><span>·       Utilizes effective, professional communications to cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues, flexible in own approach to people and situations.</span></p><p><span>·       Skillfully plans, prioritizes, and executes multiple responsibilities and projects.
