Job Description:
Task / Responsibility
1. KOL Engagement & Strategic Relationship Management
- Establish, develop, and maintain long-term, peer-to-peer scientific relationships with key national and regional opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Deliver objective, balanced, and high-level scientific and clinical data (e.g., trial outcomes, treatment guidelines) through proactive and reactive interactions.
- Plan, organize, and lead high-impact medical events, including Medical Symposia, Scientific Standalone Meetings, and Medical Advisory Boards (ABMs).
2. Medical Strategy & Medical Insight Generation
- Systematically gather and analyze field-based medical insights regarding clinical practice, competitive landscapes, and Unmet Medical Needs to shape country medical plans.
- Act as a core contributor to the development and implementation of the integrated Medical Affairs Strategy.
- Provide strategic field perspectives to support upcoming product launches, indication expansions, and lifecycle management.
3. Evidence Generation & Clinical Trial Support
- Facilitate discussions and serve as a bridge for Investigator-Sponsored Research (ISR) / Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs).
- Support company-sponsored clinical trials (including Phase IV, Real-World Evidence [RWE] studies, and post-marketing surveillance) by identifying potential sites and discussing scientific rationale with investigators.
- Support data dissemination activities, including manuscript publications and scientific presentations at local/international congresses.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration & Compliance
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Regulatory Affairs) to provide expert medical and scientific guidance.
- Conduct internal medical training sessions to ensure a high level of scientific literacy across commercial teams.
- Ensure all field activities are executed with the highest level of integrity, strictly adhering to local pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., KRPIA guidelines, Pharmaceutical Affairs Act) and corporate compliance standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Advanced degree in life sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD, MSc, Nursing, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of solid experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of successful KOL management and executing medical plans in the field.
- Core Competencies:
- Exceptional ability to comprehend, interpret, and effectively communicate complex scientific data and clinical papers.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead medical initiatives independently.
Preferred Skills / Nice to Have
- Experience in uro-oncology
- Proficient in written and spoken English for smooth communication with regional/global teams.
- Strong strategic mindset with a proactive "can-do" attitude in a fast-paced environment.
