Job Purpose: To drive performance in your territory through face-to-face and multi-channel detailing (medical communication) and to establish GSK as a key advisor by making relevant recommendations to health-care professionals, supported by scientific knowledge which are aligned to medical and pharmacist professionals (Health care professionals – HCPs) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Scientific Knowledge
• Continuously builds knowledge of GSK multi-channel brand strategies
• Understands GSK brands features and benefits and applies knowledge effectively in detailing activities.
• Builds a comprehensive disease and pathology knowledge and leverages it with health-care professionals to support decision making
• Has strong understanding of treatment guidelines and patient profiles and leverages them to build credibility with health-care professionals.
Activities Planning
• Uses multiple data sources to analyses and review territory performance dynamics, identify territory trends and opportunities for GSK to address right HCPs
• Based on health-care practices insights, develop multi-channel activities plans with strategically aligned ASMART objectives, prioritise health-care professionals for detailing, build and adjust robust territory coverage call plans
• Implements multi-channel activities plans, uses KPIs to track performance and adjust plans where required
Detailing Skills
• Effectively engages with health-care professionals through a effective detailing approach or multi-channel detailing approach and is proficient in using appropriate multi-channel detailing platforms aligned to HCP’s preferences
• Actively prepares for, and executes the effective detailing approach for uncovering opportunities, making recommendations aligned to health-care professionals needs, addressing objections and effectively closing
• Regularly measures call performance and seeks FLFL feedback to continuously improve
• Builds collaborative internal and external relationships that enhance the health-care professionals journey, channels their feedback into the wider organization
Compliance
• In all areas, demonstrate understanding of and compliance with laws, codes of conduct, policies and frameworks in which GSK operates and live our vision, values and expectations
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
• Solid scientific knowledge with the ability to clearly communicate complex medical and scientific information.
• Demonstrates adaptability, resilience, and a strong results-oriented mindset.
• Strong planning and execution skills with an analytical and strategic mindset.
