The Medical Manager Hematology partners closely with cross-functional team to shape and execute medical plans, strengthen external stakeholder engagement, and uphold the highest standards of medical governance and compliance.</p><p>This position requires a seasoned Medical Affairs professional with strong scientific credibility, excellent influencing skills, and demonstrated ability to lead teams and programs in a matrix environment.</p><p>80% officed based, 20% travel required</p><h2><b>2) Key Responsibilities</b></h2><h3><b>A) Therapeutic Area Leadership – Hematology (MM, CLL, Lymphoma)</b></h3><ul><li><p><b>Owns and drives the medical strategy for Hematology</b> (MM, CLL, Lymphoma) in alignment with regional/global medical strategy and local business priorities.</p></li><li><p>Acts as a <b>key medical strategic partner within Country Value Teams (CVTs)</b>, providing TA expertise and medical leadership for portfolio and lifecycle discussions.</p></li><li><p>Leads the development, execution, and tracking of the <b>Hematology Medical Affairs Plan (MAF Plan)</b>, ensuring alignment with the Business Plan and account strategies.</p></li><li><p>Accountable for <b>medical budget planning, forecasting, and management</b> for the Hematology TA.</p></li><li><p>Oversees <b>medical activity prioritization and performance</b>, ensuring high-quality execution and measurable impact.</p></li><li><p>Establishes and maintains a <b>structured medical insight generation process</b>, translating insights into strategic actions and sharing them with regional/global stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Builds and maintains strong <b>external stakeholder relationships</b>, including a robust KOL network across MM, CLL, and Lymphomas via regular <b>F2F and other channels</b></p></li><li><p>Defines and implements <b>KOL engagement plans</b> for Hematology in line with local needs and compliance requirements.</p></li><li><p>Drives <b>cross-functional collaboration</b> between Medical, Commercial, Market Access, and other functions to ensure aligned and compliant customer engagement.</p></li><li><p>Develops and implements the <b>Medical education strategy</b> aligned with TA and brand strategy.</p></li><li><p>Plans and executes <b>scientific exchange activities</b> (e.g., regular F2F, advisory boards, medical education meetings, symposia, virtual engagements) ensuring balanced, non‑promotional communication.</p></li><li><p>Creates, reviews, and localizes <b>medical education materials</b> for HCPs (and patients where applicable) in collaboration with Patient & External Engagement and external partners.</p></li><li><p>Provides <b>high-level medical support to internal stakeholders</b>, including scientific training and interpretation of clinical data, in line with compliance standards.</p></li><li><p>Supports <b>real‑world evidence (RWE), non‑interventional studies (NIS), and registries</b> from a medical/scientific perspective in collaboration with Clinical Operations.</p></li><li><p>Supports implementation of <b>Risk Management Plan (RMP), Pre-approval access (PAA) </b>and other activities relevant to TA in collaboration with Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance and Quality.</p></li></ul><p></p><h3><b>B) People Leadership & Capability Building</b></h3><ul><li><p><b>Leads, coaches, and develops the Hematology Medical team</b>, ensuring clear objectives, accountability, and continuous professional development.</p></li><li><p>Supports <b>capability building, performance management, and succession planning</b> within the team.</p></li><li><p>Monitors and improves <b>quantitative and qualitative KPIs</b> (e.g., field excellence, engagement quality, insight value, medical activity effectiveness).</p></li><li><p>Promotes best practices, effective ways of working, and knowledge sharing within the affiliate and across regional networks.</p></li><li><p>Acts as a role model for company values, ABCT culture (Accountability, Belonging, Courage, Trust), and diversity & inclusion.</p></li></ul><p></p><h3><b>D) Medical Governance, Compliance & Quality</b></h3><ul><li><p>Reviews and certifies medical and educational materials as required, ensuring scientific accuracy, objectivity, and compliance with SOPs.</p></li><li><p>Reviews <b>medical education grants, charitable contributions</b>, and congress participation documentation according to internal governance.</p></li><li><p>Ensures appropriate documentation of medical activities in required systems.</p></li><li><p>Supports <b>audit and inspection readiness</b> and co‑owns TA‑related actions during and after audits/inspections.</p></li><li><p>Acts as a role model for <b>ethical conduct, compliance, and integrity‑based decision making</b>, preserving trust with HCPs and patients.</p></li></ul><h2><b>4) Qualifications & Experience</b></h2><h3><b>Education</b></h3><ul><li><p><b>Medical Doctor (MD) , PhD or advanced scientific degree</b> in a relevant life‑science field strongly preffered</p></li></ul><h3><b>Experience</b></h3><ul><li><p><b>Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs Field roles</b> (e.g., MSL, Medical Advisor, MSL Manager).</p></li><li><p>Proven <b>people leadership or strong matrix leadership experience</b>, including coaching and team development.</p></li><li><p>Solid experience in <b>medical strategy, medical education, stakeholder engagement, and data interpretation</b>.</p></li><li><p>Background in <b>hematology and/or oncology</b> required; experience in <b>MM, CLL, and/or Lymphoma</b> highly preferred.</p></li><li><p>Experience with <b>RWE/NIS, advisory boards, and cross‑functional CVT work</b> is an advantage.</p></li></ul><h3><b>Knowledge & Skills</b></h3><ul><li><p>Strong scientific
