Position Overview
The SEA Medical Affairs Intern will support the Southeast Asia (SEA) Medical team in project management, operational coordination, and execution of key SEA medical initiatives. This internship provides hands-on exposure to medical affairs activities across multiple SEA markets, including scientific meetings, regional projects, and medical operations.
The intern will be based in Singapore and report directly to the SEA Medical Capabilities Lead, working closely with SEA medical colleagues and country medical teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in regional medical affairs within the biopharmaceutical industry while contributing to initiatives that support scientific exchange and medical education across Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
• Support project management and coordination for the SEA Bone-X Series 2026, consisting of 4 hybrid scientific meetings hosted by SEA countries (HK, TH, SG, MY) with 1–2 satellite sites per meeting across SEA markets.
• Assist with planning timelines, documentation, meeting coordination, and progress tracking for the SEA Bone-X Series.
• Support SEA Medical Operations, including updates and maintenance of the SEA Field Medical Dashboard 2026.
• Assist with SEAL Checkout documentation and tracking to support SEA medical operational processes.
• Support coordination and roll-out planning for Global-to-Local medical initiatives across SEA markets.
• Provide coordination and administrative support for SEA Medical team initiatives including but not limited to the 2026 SEA Lipid Academy, Amgen ALL BiTE Forum, Onco BiTE Forum, and
SEA Medical Team Meeting management
• Prepare meeting materials, project trackers, presentation slides, and summary documentation to support SEA medical activities.
• Collaborate with SEA country medical teams and cross-functional stakeholders to support timely execution of SEA medical initiatives.
Qualifications
• Current undergraduate or postgraduate student in life sciences, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, medicine, public health, or a related scientific discipline.
• Strong interest in medical affairs and the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
