Description

Build instruments, assemblies, and sub-assemblies with minimal guidance, following instructions. Perform final instrument checkout for all types of Hokanson electronic instruments. Use multi-meters, oscilloscopes and similar electronic test equipment as well as multiple types of hand tools. Document all tests and rework performed on repaired instruments. Hand solder wire harnesses, cable assemblies and connectors. Fabricate, assemble and test medical transducers. Make pour molded temperature cured plastic parts. Machine parts on metal lathe and milling machine. Perform general maintenance on tools and equipment. Prepare instruments for customer orders. Pack complete orders for shipment to customers. Communicate production batch issues related to parts to Production Planner. Communicate material needs to Purchaser. Print and verify UDI (barcode) labels for new products. Perform job duties in compliance with Hokanson Quality Management System (ISO 13485 and FDA CFR 820 compliant).

Requirements

Perform quality work with consistency while following documentation and quality procedures is absolutely essential. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are important. Ability to identify electronic components and values. Ability to inspect and test to specifications and record results. Experience using electronic testing equipment such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes. Able to use all manners of manual assembly tools and possess a knowledge of the basic operation of power tools like drill press, grinder and sander. Experience working in a regulated production environment, preferably directly with electronic instruments. Good verbal and written communication skills are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel desirable. Ability to work independently and be a team player. Must be able to lift 35 pounds on a daily basis.
